Killing a police officer is usually a bigger news story than a person killing his family, same as when a young woman is missing or killed, we have had a couple of those stories this last month as well. School shootings, even if no one is killed recieves the national headline.

I had a friend shot in November by an jerk, no national headlines and barely local coverage.

While I don't support the building of the wall, saying we don't need it because there are non-immigrant Americans murdering people is the kind of argument I would expect from a seventh grader.
