There's some real doozies in that list that are closer hate crime frauds than Ford.. What she did wasn't predominantly a hate crime.. You'll find plenty of people who ATTACKED THEMSELVES to cast blame on others. And there's a lot of creativity involved.

Smollet was just producing and directing his own promo stunt.. And obviously, he sucks at producing anything credible... But he deserves to be nominated for sure...
