Bush out did Carter by 7000+ preventable US deaths, keep dreaming. Iraq, New Orleans; Katrina was Cat. 3 when she hit the city, the SELA project was behind schedule, guess who didn't include the yearly money needed in his budget? Congress managed to up it a bit each year, but with TWO wars, tax cuts for those in the US AND outside the US, there was only so much money. It was spent on Iraq, by cutting the SELA money, Bush saved enough for about half a day of his personal war.

Nixon and LBJ both tried to kill me in Vietnam. Nixon ran for election based on a "secret plan to end the war". he admitted to David Frost yeas later, that he had no plan. More people died in Vietnam under Nixon than under LBJ, but Nixon compounded his offense by having to leave the presidency in disgrace due to him being a crook. LBJ was only second worse.
