Who supports removing the second amendment?

To serve what purpose?
All the weapons shown are not available to the public ever.
Bullshit...

Get a federal firearms permit...

As a matter of fact, there's a private range right outside the South gate of Ft Knox where you can fire them all day long (as long as you can afford the ammo)...

Actually, no, that is not correct. There are zero, not a single example of any fully-automatic weapon made after 1986 that is LEGALLY owned by anyone but the government.
But pre1986 are legal...
Nope no fully automatic weapon is available for sale to the public.
You liberals sure like to lie. FULL autos? NO problem, got one myself.

No, you can buy them LEGALLY. Fuck, there is a huge machine gun shoot at Knob Creek twice a year! (Next weekend, in fact.)

Four of your beer buddies riding around in a Dodge Durango ain't anywhere near "well regulated".

Don't hand me that! Adam Lanza wasn't 'militia'.
Wow, didn't you know you can get a permit for a REAL gun???

sorry shit head but the weapons have been removed or the firing mechanism disabled.
All they do is take out the chamber seal. You can make a new one in a weekend.

That pesky "well regulated militia" part has to be taken seriously.

Otherwise, keep the second as it is. But make sure gun owners, importers, manufacturers and sellers stop selling weapons that belong in a well regulated milita, not on the streets.

"Well-regulated militia" is redundant now. It came when the Founders didn't want a fulltime standing army for the country but an all-reserve type force.
There are weapons that belong in the hands of the citizens. And there are weapons that belong in the hands of a well regulated militia and our standing armed forces.
Where in the Constitution does it say that?
Where can I get a thermonuclear device? Where can I get a rocket propelled grenade launcher? Where's your howitzer?

And why on earth would a citizen, in an unregulated militia absolutely need a gun that can fire twenty rounds a second? Or twenty rounds in ten seconds for that matter? Is that weapon used for sport?

That pesky "well regulated militia" part has to be taken seriously.

Why?

It's not pertinent to the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
It most definitely is! Read the amendment and tell me you did't see that very phrase.
Hey did you know, we are ALL the militia?

Actually, you can. You may have to have a Class III license, which cost MONEY, but as long as you pays yo' dues (and are not a convicted criminal), you can have as many auto- and semi-auto firearms as you like. Well, as long as you can afford them.

Yeah...

You should try it sometime...

It would be so much fun to watch you wet your diaper!!!

Nukes fall into their area, they are not guns. The Howitzer can be bought and I THINK you could get a grenade launcher. I KNOW you can get a mortar launcher. I was looking those a few years back.

Thank you for illustrating your ignorance. The second amendment says nothing about what guns we "need" or how many rounds we're allowed to have, or how fast they can be fired. And it says nothing about "sport". The second amendment was put there so we can protect ourselves from our own government and to deter them from attempting to impose tyranny on us. A real American would not ask such stupid questions.
