Why do Jews vote democrat?

I'm left and my wife is extreme left, yet we still have Jewish friends. Some in England and one in Israel.
All Jews are not wealthy.

All the great leftists are Jews, so not surprising.

Yeah, it's an interesting question. I know i'll immediately be branded an 'Anti-Semite', but i've always wondered why so many American Jews turned to Communism. Most American Jews are far Left loyal Democrats. But why? What is it about Communism that has attracted so many American Jews.

It's not a recent development. They turned to Communism many decades ago. And i have to admit i really don't understand it. Communists especially in Europe, treated Jews very badly. Stalin murdered and imprisoned Thousands in the Soviet Union. So you have to ask why so many American Jews decided to go that route? It is perplexing.

Yeah, and it could go back to Karl Marx. He was an original founder of Communism. And he was of Jewish heritage. That could have been why so many Jews who emigrated to the U.S., were loyal to his doctrines. But then again, i could be grasping at straws. I really can't explain why so many American Jews turned to Communism all those years ago. It is a bit of a mystery.
