Why do NRA members not support Keith Scott?

Not one of you rejects know why he was pulled over?

LOL, it doesn't matter delinquent.
What matters is that he did not obey the officer and he died for it.
If I tell you to drop your gun drop it, otherwise bad things will happen.

I understand and am willing to wait until the investigation reject. Just wondering why they pulled him over in the first place.

Keith Lamont Scott had a right to carry a gun.
He was in his vehicle.
He broke no laws that day.
Police forced him out of the vehicle and shot him after he did not drop his gun.

Why does NRA not come out and support Scott's right to have a gun?

When and where did the NRA tell people in an open carry state that you should not tell an arresting officer that you have a firearm?

TAKE 2:
My intended focus was not on Keith Scott's criminal past, but on his gun-rights behavior before he was shot by an immature cop.

My understanding is that NRA & most members support legal gun ownership and rights to open carry their firearm. No?

Therefore, I'll rephrase my OP ...

IF Keith Lamont Scott had a legal right to carry a gun, why would NRA not support him?
He was in his vehicle.
He broke no laws that day.
Police forced him out of the vehicle and shot him within seconds after he did not drop his gun and posed no threat to them while walking backwards with hands down.

The shooting was unnecessary.

Being an armed felon means he WAS breaking the law.

Not complying with instructions while armed is a threat. Why do you insist on misrepresenting the situation?

You aren't real bright.
" IF A COP TELLS YOU TO DROP THE WEAPON, DROP THE WEAPON"
Dumbass.
You are not bright -- a "dumbass". LOL.
What does "Drop the gun" mean when he's sitting in his car and cops can't see him "drop his gun" from their positions?
A gun owner in NC has a right to open carry a gun outside & inside his car ... if he does not threaten anyone.

His rights were infringed by cops, and he was murdered by that immature cop. Cops need better training and sensitivity toward other immature people.

Stupid fuck watch the video.
I watched the videos, "stupid fuck".
Have anything specific & intelligent to contribute?

Convicted felons have no such right.
In some cases they DO have such right.
So why does NRA not support ALL legal gun ownership?

Because they are nothing more then a money collecting wing of the republican party. They have wandered so far from their original charter that giving money to them is no better then giving money to Peter Popoff for some miricle spring water. I was done with the NRA in the mid 90's. Much better, more effective lobbying gun rights organizations who better serve gun owning americans.

As you can see you’ll only get ignorance, hate, and stupidity from the right.

And conservatives’ efforts to blame the victim, and demonize African-Americans shot by law enforcement is one of the more reprehensible manifestations of the right.
The stupidity seems to be coming from him.
I've posted a couple of links showing the man should not have had a firearm, especially in a vehicle.
and he keeps coming back with 'but, but, but"
I posted a link that says a man can open carry a gun in a vehicle in NC.
And you have no valid response?
I win. :)
"I posted a link that says a man can open carry a gun in a vehicle in NC."

and when he got out of the car with the gun in his hand, that ended.
You lose
Cops were there hunting for another.
He broke no laws sitting in his vehicle with gun.
Cops violated his right to remain in vehicle, unless he was a suspect.

Felon in possession of a gun is breaking the law.
Is it legal to kill someone who was a felon because they possessed a gun?

If they have it in hand confronting police and refuse to drop it, YEP.

The video evidence shows Scott was in his vehicle, not threatening anyone, when cops demanded "drop your gun!".
Cops admitted they were there searching for someone else.

When Scott exited his vehicle, walking backwards slowly with his hands down (maybe his stupid way of NOT threatening cops), within seconds a cop shot him 4x.
Why was it necessary to shoot him so soon, when there were 4 cops pointing their guns on him??
If it takes .4 sec for Scott to raise his arm & shoot, as you said, it would take less time than that to simply pull the trigger.

If Scott was not a felon and a legal gun owner, was the outcome justified?
NRA is OK with this police state behavior?

Because you keep saying he was not a threat, but if he had a firearm in his hand and didn't drop it, then he was very clearly a threat.

Open carry is legal in NC outside & inside a vehicle.
Why did those cops bother Scott when he was not the person they were looking for (via search warrant), and in his vehicle not threatening anyone?

The police confronted him. He was backing up with hands pointing down. Show me the law that says they can kill him for that.

Smoking in your own car, minding your own business, should get you killed ... by a cop?
You don't help cops look respectable.
Not listing to a cop and having an illegal, gun will,do it every time....or at least it should.....
A cop should not bother a person minding their own business & not threatening anyone.
