The civilized world deal with the death penalty in a different way. Other prisoners take care of it.

Keeping the violently disordered alive only puts everyone else's lives in danger. They can be held in permanent solitary confinement. That is arguably an extreme form of inhumane treatment.

This thrill killer who killed a 3 year old didn't use a gun. Pleasure killers seldom use guns. I really can't think of any who kill for enjoyment that used a gun. They use a knife or strangulation usually.

Vonda Pelto was the psychologist in charge of treatment for death row inmates. They cannot be helped. There is no form of treatment that works. Just execute them, quickly.

That's what happened to William Bonin, the Freeway Killer. He was a mentally disordered sex offender who raped little boys. After being cured at Atascadero, he murdered 30 boys. No gun involved either. There's no fun in that.

You don't understand mental illness at all. Once the pleasure centers of the brain are stimulated by killing, that killing becomes a drug with an ever growing addiction. There is no form of rehab that stops it either.
