The common denominator is conservatism, whether Democratic or Republican is irrelevant.

Then as now, conservatives have pursued an agenda of racism, bigotry, and hate – and for the last 50 years at least, an agenda hostile to women and their reproductive autonomy.

They tend to have this belief that everything was better in the past.

If you have any doubts about Republicans trying to force births… even when there is no possibility of the fetus surviving this is it
Texas voters have the right to put any laws they choose in place for their state. if you don't like their laws don't live there, its simple.

bullshit and lies--------------the common denominator for libs and dems.

if you don't want a kid, don't screw or use protection. killing children is not a form of birth control.

Great news. She has left the state to have the procedure, and there isn't thing one Texas can do about it.

Hold that thought.

The problem being that this is a white middle class woman who could afford lawyers to get her a court order, and travel to another state. I minimum wage family couldn't afford those expenses or take the time off work needed to make it happen.

There is nothing worse than having to go to strange doctors in a different city, when you're having a medical crisis. That's when you want the doctors who you know and trust the most.
/-----/ Did you read past the first paragraph?
But the Supreme Court did allow a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) mandate to go into effect. It requires health care workers at facilities that take federal funds to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

6 things to know about the Army's new mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy

The Army has made COVID-19 vaccines part of our normal medical readiness requirements and began mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations of Soldiers using the FDA approved...
I live on Long Island. During COVID, if you wanted to eat at any NYC restaurant, you had to produce a state certification proving you were vaccinated before you could eat there. Yeah, it was mandated.

A vaccine mandate requires you to line up and get a needle in your arm.

An abortion ban requires a woman or a couple to spend the next 20 years and a substantial chunk of their time and income, feeding, clothing, housing and caring for another member of your family. Unlike a vaccine, you don't go home afterward and forget about it until it's time for a booster.

Having a baby is a lifelong commitment to an initally helpless human being. Some families don't have the income, health insurance, child care, or other resources to give all of their children a decent life, a good education, and a chance in life.

And those of you who say "Just don't have sex", 60% of those getting abortions are married. 50% used birth control. But 75% of them are living below, or just above the poverty line. If you want to reduce abortion, job security for pregnant women, maternity leave funded by unemployment insurance, subsidized childcare.

Young single women are getting sterilized in the USA because they're afraid of getting pregnant and dying. This is the law of unintended consequences. You're not promoting abstinance or morality, you're promoting sterility.

No.

Teabaggers do.

What kind of "life" will a pregnant 13 year old girl have, that she is forced to carry, let alone the "baby"

That should be between the doctor and the woman, not between the woman and usually, a male politician.
Of course libs advocate a free anything goes lifestyle

it goes back many generations and is the basis of their toward Christians and Christian standards of morality

Of course 13 is too young to get married and have a baby

Adults failed that young girl long before she started having sex

And the father too who is probably not much older than she is

But infanticide is not the answer

Nope.

To say the least of "Christian morality".
Of course 13 is too young to get married and have a baby
Correct.
Adults failed that young girl long before she started having sex
Not necessarily, just one.
And the father too who is probably not much older than she is
Could BE the father or step dad.
But infanticide is not the answer
Well, in this case, it is.
A mother WITH two kids already, hoping for this one too.
Not a viable pregnancy, according to HER doctor.
Been to ER three or four times because of it.
Why do teabaggers and THEIR politicians disagree?
WHERE is Paxton's medical degree?

According to reports she went out of state and succeeded in having the child killed
