Woman pulls gun during fight over school supplies at Walmart

God willing you're ineligible for jury duty.......... :eusa_whistle:
Dang rightie'! The only crime I see here.
Is an armed gun nutter Attempted Robbery of a Walmart shopper.
Where the stuff is still owned by Walmart.
Now how did I know you were gonna eventually use this moronic accusation............
There was no need for the gun. The video clearly shows the event was under Walmart
employee control on scene. The gun nutter had Walmart backup if needing to be pulled apart.
I would say Walmart needs to put a sign on all stores, NO GUNS, on Walmart shoppers. Shop elsewhere, we don't want your kind. Or
the next one will be bloody. Crazy LOSER GUN NUTTERS. Making America shopping unsafe.

And yet....you are wrong...and have no idea about the truth, the facts and the reality....you found a rare instance......if that......since you don't know all the facts....

We went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 16.3 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2017...guess what happened...

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.

Again, those drops are not because folks have guns. It is a rare thang, these
GUN NUTTER owners are involved in any ongoing crime event, as the saviors during these

And the bigley YUGE Cowardly reason why, is they will

Gun Nutters are mental morons. Got all these guns, can't freely shot some one or be the fantasy type Dirty Hairy hero. To get a wall trophy.

And against rape....a gun is the most effective way for a woman to stop a rape....this is found through actual research....

Guns Effective Defense Against Rape

A woman using a gun is less likely to be raped and more likely to not be injured during the attack....

Guns Effective Defense Against Rape

However, most recent studies with improved methodology are consistently showing that the more forceful the resistance, the lower the risk of a completed rape, with no increase in physical injury. Sarah Ullman's original research (Journal of Interpersonal Violence, 1998) and critical review of past studies (Criminal Justice and Behavior, 1997) are especially valuable in solidifying this conclusion.

I wish to single out one particular subtype of physical resistance: Use of a weapon, and especially a firearm, is statistically a woman's best means of resistance, greatly enhancing her odds of escaping both rape and injury, compared to any other strategy of physical or verbal resistance. This conclusion is drawn from four types of information.

First, a 1989 study (Furby, Journal of Interpersonal Violence) found that both male and female survey respondents judged a gun to be the most effective means that a potential rape victim could use to fend off the assault. Rape "experts" considered it a close second, after eye-gouging.

Second, raw data from the 1979-1985 installments of the Justice Department's annual National Crime Victim Survey show that when a woman resists a stranger rape with a gun, the probability of completion was 0.1 percent and of victim injury 0.0 percent, compared to 31 percent and 40 percent, respectively, for all stranger rapes (Kleck, Social Problems, 1990).

Third, a recent paper (Southwick, Journal of Criminal Justice, 2000) analyzed victim resistance to violent crimes generally, with robbery, aggravated assault and rape considered together. Women who resisted with a gun were 2.5 times more likely to escape without injury than those who did not resist and 4 times more likely to escape uninjured than those who resisted with any means other than a gun. Similarly, their property losses in a robbery were reduced more than six-fold and almost three-fold, respectively, compared to the other categories of resistance strategy.

Fourth, we have two studies in the last 20 years that directly address the outcomes of women who resist attempted rape with a weapon. (Lizotte, Journal of Quantitative Criminology, 1986; Kleck, Social Problems, 1990.) The former concludes,"Further, women who resist rape with a gun or knife dramatically decrease their probability of completion." (Lizotte did not analyze victim injuries apart from the rape itself.) The latter concludes that "resistance with a gun or knife is the most effective form of resistance for preventing completion of a rape"; this is accomplished "without creating any significant additional risk of other injury."

The best conclusion from available scientific data, then, is when avoidance of rape has failed and one must choose between being raped and resisting, a woman's best option is to resist with a gun in her hands.

The best protection for women....and for the elderly.

“Guns also appear to be the great equalizer among the sexes. Murder rates decline when either more women or more men carry concealed handguns, but the effect is especially pronounced for women. One additional woman carrying a concealed handgun reduces the murder rate for women by about 3-4 times more than one additional man carrying a concealed handgun reduces the murder rate for men. This occurs because allowing a woman to defend herself with a concealed handgun produces a much larger change in her ability to defend herself than a change created by providing a man with a handgun.”~ "More Guns, Less Crime," by John Lott

She was drunk, and banging on a strangers door at 3am. He warned her to leave.

They use this ploy in Detroit to gain access to a home. He should have walked. Because of idiots like you, he's in prison.

Looks like the presence of a gun stopped an attack on her daughter. :dunno:

Thanks for telling us you will be pulling your guns like this.

What the Violence Policy Center lies about.....? They use justifiable shootings as the only measure of defensive gun use. Actually shooting the criminal is the least likely use of a gun in a self defense situation, since the majority of the time the criminal runs away, or is held by the victim till the police arrive. The chance of a victim actually having to shoot a criminal is low, and even when they do shoot, as the statistics show, they are only injured and not killed......

By lying and trying to use justifiable shootings as the only measure of defensive gun use, the VPC shows they are dishonest hacks, seeking to push a gun ban agenda by lying about actual gun use.

The truth....?

It is a rare thang, these
GUN NUTTER owners are involved in any ongoing crime event, as the saviors during these
crimes or did any citizen arrest themselves. Yes, there are a few. Maybe 1 in 185K - 225,000 crimes.
MOST GUN NUTTERS are COWARDS. If they have a gun they hide or run away.
And the bigley YUGE Cowardly reason why, is they will
suffer legal actions in most cases. Costing them MONEY!
Gun Nutters are mental morons. Got all these guns, can't freely shot some one or be the fantasy type Dirty Hairy hero. To get a wall trophy.

Latest Crime Statistics Released — FBI
Among some of the other statistics contained in Crime in the United States, 2015:

  • The estimated number of murders in the nation was 15,696. (NOTE: THESE ARE DEAD, ARMED OR NOT. I'VE READ NO WINNERS WITH A GUN)
  • During the year, there were an estimated 90,185 rapes. (This figure currently reflects UCR’s legacy definition. Learn more about the revised rape definition.)
  • There were an estimated 327,374 robberies nationwide, which accounted for an estimated $390 million in losses (average dollar value of stolen property per reported robbery was $1,190).
  • Firearms were used in 71.5 percent of the nation’s murders, 40.8 percent of robberies, and 24.2 percent of aggravated assaults.
  • Property crimes resulted in losses estimated at $14.3 billion. The total value of reported stolen property (i.e., currency, jewelry, motor vehicles, electronics, firearms) was $12,420,364,454.

Now...considering that the anti gunners have made as much public space as possible gun free zones.....you still have armed citizens using their guns to stop mass public shootings....here is a list...and it would be longer if more areas were no longer gun free zones...

UPDATED: Compiling Cases where concealed handgun permit holders have stopped mass public shootings and other mass attacks - Crime Prevention Research Center

A note: A concern is often raised that a concealed handgun permit holder who stops an attack might accidentally shoot a bystander or might himself be accidentally shot by the police. In none of these cases has that occurred. As noted below, it is very likely that we do not have all the cases where a permit holder stops a mass public shooting, but if a permit holder were to shoot a bystander, it seems clear that such a case would get news coverage. Thus it seems pretty certain that such cases don’t occur during these types of events.

Some other cases include [This section has been updated]

Note that most all these cases have just a couple of local news stories on them. There is no reason to believe that this list is comprehensive given how little media coverage is given to mass public shootings that were stopped by concealed handgun permit holders. Even in the cases that got massive news coverage, only a few of those stories would mention that it was a permit holder who stopped the attack. In addition, there is no attempt here to list here the very large number of defensive gun uses that are reported daily in the US. This list here only includes cases where mass public shootings were stopped.

Woman pulls gun during fight over school supplies at Walmart
Video from a bystander shows a woman pull out a gun during a fight inside a Walmart store in Novi on Monday afternoon.

An argument broke out between two pairs of women over the last notebook on the shelf at the Novi Towne Center store, according to police.

The fight involved two Farmington Hills residents, ages 46 and 32, and a mother and daughter from South Lyon, ages 51 and 20.

:cuckoo: Gun Nutter should be put down.

What you don't have is the whole story but that's the way hacks are, they don't want the whole story presented, that would ruin their one sided rant. The fight resulted in the lady in pink on the floor, the lady with the CC license apparently felt physically threatened and pulled the firearm. Now she will have to answer to the law as to why she actually pulled the weapon. The "fight" had become physical and it helps to have all the information before you stuff your feet in your mouth.

Gun Nutter and kid were in no danger, calling for a gun to be pulled..

Oh...so you were there?

Two unarmed people fighting over a notebook. Gun not required, in the store that has security.

Here's the tussle over the book. With like 4 Walmart people on the scene.
Gun Nutter going to jail. See no assault, punches or knives. Just a crazy gun nutter
that should never have a gun again.

Back up. Pulling her hair was over the top to begin with. I KNOW it's stressful getting all the back to school supplies but Jesus. There is probably another notebook somewhere in town; it is not worth pulling someone's hair over. Wasn't worth young one grabbing it from under another customer's nose, either.
I got an idea--send the lot of them back to KINDERGARTEN where we got taught how to get along and share. And until she graduates, take the gun away from Mom.

And according to research conducted by bill clinton's Department of Justice, and obama's Centers for Disease control, Americans use guns 1,500,000 times a year to stop violent criminal attack...and those aren't the only studies........actual research shows you are wrong....

Self defense with a gun......40 years of actual research...first is the name of the group that conducted the research, then the year, then the number of defensive gun uses and finally wether the research contained police or military defensive gun uses....

Sorry....the Violence Policy Center is a rabid, anti gun group that lies........they have been caught lying over and over again, because the facts, the numbers don't support what they say......
The NRA called the study "ludicrous" and threaten to sue the Violence Policy Center. Ohh Myyy.

I recall the Black girl who went to a door for help and was shot dead. Through the door.
The Mental Whitey Gun Nutter was in no danger at all.
She was drunk, and banging on a strangers door at 3am. He warned her to leave.

They use this ploy in Detroit to gain access to a home. He should have walked. Because of idiots like you, he's in prison.

Banging on somebody's door at 3:00 in the morning is not a capital offense. Apparently, the guy never heard of dialling 911.
