It is easy to list lies by Trump, but I originally voted for Obama to end wars, and instead he spread the wars to Libya, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, the Ukraine, etc.
And he never did get out of Iraq or Afghanistan.

So right. O took two wars and made it seven. It turned Libya into a failed state causing untold death and suffering for Libyans. I feel his frustration. I am torn between staying informed as best I can and turning everything off and tuning it all out!

You know, anybody who's a public figure has got to have a much thicker skin than I have. That's because the higher a person's profile is, and the more power a person has, public figures have got to expect that they are going to be on the receiving end of all kinds of accusations. It's only gotten much worse every single decade for the last 30 years due to the media landscape explosion, the Internet, and social media platforms like Facebook that can all transmit any accusation around the world in a matter of seconds.

It happens on both sides of the political spectrum, of course, but nobody does it to the extent or to the degree than the RW media does it. And once the allegation is made, it seems as if everyone jumps on it like a cable car slowing down as it passes by a crowded intersection.

Some people might say that this is all part of the territory of public service and being in the public eye. However, while it's true that the whole thing offends me for a variety of reasons including the wild exaggerations, the faux outrage, a consistent lack of truth and accuracy in the reporting, and the sheer waste of time engaging in a public discourse about something that is, most likely, a grievous exaggeration of the truth while far more legitimate stories of public corruption are probably being drowned out in the process, that all pales in comparison to Beck's diatribe.

That's because Beck and men and women like him are saying that the people we entrust and rely on to investigate and prosecute crimes and public corruption are individually and collectively ignoring those crimes and their responsibility to hold elected and appointed gov't officials accountable. I find that offensive.

Finally, as with the claims of massive voter fraud in the 2020 election where the outcome of the election can readably be explained by Biden legitimately receiving several million more votes than Trump did, there's a very simple and non conspiratorial explanation as to why "nothing happens" after these charges are repeatedly made. It's simple: There is no there there.

People need to realize whats happening,they sit at home all fat and happy while their government sells them down the river.
And I would hardly call it self fufilling I made some educated guesses based on what I was seeing and I was right....over and over again.
People today are to lackadaisical about politics and it will be our downfall.
And maybe your right,there may not be shit we can do about. By the time they become aware of their mistakes we'll be defenseless.
I think the big indicator will be when they try and disarm the people. If they succceed in this we're fucked.

Up until recently I cared. I quit voting for those who lie to us. I suggested others do the same. I was told that they "all lie". That's only because people made excuses for their lies and continued to vote for them.

It's not the lackadaisical that is the problem. It's the majority that are hard core partisans where nothing matters to them outside of their "party" winning.

I have no faith in either party at this point.
And yes people who refuse to engage,lackadaisical people,are a huge part of the problem.
I know you'll disagree with me but Trump opened a lot of peoples eyes.
His rallies proved that,I've never seen a candidate get the support he has....Ever!
And I truly believe dems are leading us down a path to destruction.

Trump like Obama had the chance to transform politics but both failed miserably because in both their cases in the end it was all about them.

He brought wages up for everyone and employment.
Tell me one thing Trump did to enrich himself during his presidency?
