Cool with me
I seriously doubt that. But your glee for government force is noted.
It makes you a coward unwilling to fight your own fights.
Lol!
You do not know me, or what fights I've fought.
You know not
I know your a cheap, progressive dime store hack, that I can get from your posts.
No hack. Actually was in the streets for years as an activist.
Lost blood, but never took it.
Suffered beatings, but never gave them.
You've likely done nothing, ever.
Oh, and learn how to spell.
oooh, an "activist", I'm sceeeeered....Did you march with those annoying paper mache heads, or the "Boooosh is evul" posters and pretend to think you mattered?
and a spelling nazi as well. My view of you has been confirmed.
If you open a public business, you are OBLIGATED to serve the public - period.
Does that particular sign allow a business to refuse service to someone based on their religion, race, nationality, gender or sexual orientation? Or is it more of the "no shoes/no service" variety? Good post.....says it better than I could. If you open a public business, you are OBLIGATED to serve the public - period.
So, you're saying the the sign in the restaurant, "We reserve the 'right' to refuse service" is unconstitutional? Has it ever been challenged in court?
"Businesses with signs are subject to the same laws as restaurants without signs, meaning that any business owner reserves the right to refuse service to anyone so long as they do not fall into one of the protected classes of people covered under federal anti-discrimination laws.
However, it’s important to note that the classes can differ from state to state. For example, some states only extend protection from discrimination based on sexual orientation to those in public employment, and as of 2011, there were just 16 states that prohibited discrimination based on both sexual orientation and gender identity."
What does "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" really mean? -
"Unlike race, gender, age, ethnicity or religion, sexual orientation is not a protected characteristic under current federal civil rights law."
Gays and Lesbians
Nope. I do vote for candidates I think would be amenable to restricting PA laws to actual PA's. and I would support an organization that thinks along my lines, but right now the main sides are "Repeal them all" or "make every person a slave to the government", without anything in the middle.

Really? What's the purpose of this bill? Why do they want to pass this bill? From a friend in Wyoming:
The Wyoming State Legislature is considering a bill that, if passed, would become the most oppressive and wide-ranging anti-LGBT law in the nation. It would allow social workers to deny aid, teachers to not teach, health care workers to deny service not only to individuals that identify as LGBT, but their children as well. And that is just part of the bill... this bill tells our LGBT brothers and sisters that they are not worthy to receive services a straight cisgendered individual can receive.
HB-135 is scheduled to be voted upon by the Wyoming House Judiciary Committee this week, its first step toward becoming law. Please call and/or email members of this committee (contact info pasted below) and tell them to VOTE NO ON HB-135. No hate in the equality state!

Your view of me is of no consequence. I won't lose any sleep over it.
So, you admit you've never done a darned thing other than irresponsibly and anonymously thrown words around.

This is what you get when you use courts to force gay marriage on places that don't want it, and force non-essential businesses to either "bake or die".
When your side becomes unreasonable, don't be surprised when the other side does the exact same thing.
Nope. I do vote for candidates I think would be amenable to restricting PA laws to actual PA's. and I would support an organization that thinks along my lines, but right now the main sides are "Repeal them all" or "make every person a slave to the government", without anything in the middle.
Make every person a slave to the government?? Talk about your alternative facts.
PA laws require that YOU, the business owner, treat everyone who walks through your door as an equal. If you are a Christian, this should be easy because Jesus said "Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.".
Jesus and God depend on their followers treating everyone as if they were welcoming the Lord into their homes. Home can you deny service to a gay person and call yourself a Christian?
Apparently you have an issue with good manners, respect, and not stripping others of their rights and dignity. Because refusing service to anyone does just that. If there are members of the public, you can't treat with respect, then don't go into a business that serves the public.
Being required to treat others with good manners isn't being forced to work for the government. It's being forced to be a good Christian.

That's what used to crack me up when posters used to post the "sting" operation in Michigan where they supposedly secretly filmed Muslim bakeries refusing to bake gay wedding cakes. Michigan doesn't include sexual orientation in their PA laws.Does that particular sign allow a business to refuse service to someone based on their religion, race, nationality, gender or sexual orientation? Gays and Lesbians
No, based on religion, race, nationality, or gender, it doesn't. However, as far as I can determine, sexual orientation is not yet covered under "federal" anti-discrimination laws.
So yes, it would not apply to LGBT, unless "state" law says otherwise.

what do you think about a person "practicing their religion" sporatically.....claiming their religion doesn't allow them to make a cake for a gay wedding (nothing in the bible about that) but they have no problem with remarriages and interfaith marriages and civic only marriages......Nope. You have no issue with forcing people into ruin over their religious beliefs, over an easily replaceable, non-necessary service. That makes YOU the asshole. not me.
And you don't get to decide how a person practices their Religion, and if there is no compelling interest, neither does government.
Your "all or nothing, fuck you for disagreeing with me" methods are what made Trump possible, and you refuse to learn your lesson.
The Prince of America's Blackwater wants to deny those with whom he disagress the right to live as they wish.. . . to not be denied an adult's rights in private by the likes of you. And your weirdo beliefs cannot be denied, either, see?Men licking hairy balls is a right?Since when is the LBGT community not entitled to the same rights and protections as any other AmericanThis is what you get when you use courts to force gay marriage on places that don't want it, and force non-essential businesses to either "bake or die".

What about pedophilia, kiddie porn, incest...where does it end?The Prince of America's Blackwater wants to deny those with whom he disagress the right to live as they wish.
Has Laramie learned nothing (if this is true)?Legislature Introduces The Wyoming Government Discrimination Act
The Government Discrimination Act’s effects would be significant and immediate. Laramie’s Non-Discrimination Ordinance would be unenforceable, and potentially even illegal. No other city would be allowed to enact non-discrimination protections. County clerks would be allowed to deny same-sex couples a marriage license, and would be able to do so without consequence. A doctor would be able to decline care for the child of a same-sex couple, and could keep her or his license. State contractors or grantees which provide essential social services, such as a homeless shelter or counseling agency, could turn away LGBT people and keep their state funding.
Talk about Regressives.
