Yes, you are better off now than you were then.

I accept your anecdotes for what they're worth, and the empirical data for what it's worth.

Unemployment is down. Income is up. Inflation and illegal immigration numbers have been dropping in recent nonths.

When you opined, "Never mind that gas more than doubled, and prices are STILL GOING UP," I did not mind it because it is blatantly true.
Inflation and illegal migration is down from the HIGHS of the B/H presidency. We are stuck with high prices and 10 million illegals driving up the price of rent.

It is good that illegal immigration and inflation have been coming down, and that unemployment has dropped significantly since Trump absconded with a dismal 34% approval, and that income is increasing.

What is your data that indicates "10 million illegals are driving up the price of rent"? Where? By how much? Prosperity in America is dependent upon the low income jobs that are largely held by undocumented workers, but the housing shortage is attributable to the general demand, regardless of legal status. (According to the National Association of Realtors, the US currently has a housing shortage of between 5.5 million and 6.8 million units.)

Ever take Econ 101: inflation results when too much demand is chasing too few goods. Hence, 10 million illegals competing with low-income Americans for affordable apartments drive up the rents. Duh.

And stop with the “undocumented workers” garbage. The correct term is ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Anyone on a fixed income is worse off.
Senior citizens are REALLY feeling it hard.

And before leftists race in and say their SS went up, SS is a small amount - averaging around $1800 a month. So the 8% increase in 2023 mean $144 more a month, from which you need to subtract the increase in Medicare.

SO….the average senior citizen got $120 more a month. Their grocery bill increased by at least $200, gas another $100, the utilities another $50, and just all-around other household stuff at least another $50. If they rent, they saw a jump of $200 a month, easily.

So, retirees on very modest incomes, already watching their pennies to get by, got $120 more a month to cover $600 more in expenses.

If the capitalists who employ them prefer to use the term "undocumented workers" it concurs with the principle of American jurisprudence that an individual is presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.

It is unfortunate that Trump ordered Republicans to kill Lankford's tough border security bill.

The shortage of low income housing is a major problem.

That border security bill codified the import of 5,000 illegals a day.

Try your lies on someone stuoid and ignorant.

Most working Americans are better off now than they were when the reign of Trumpery ended with a dismal 34% public approval.

According to my organization’s analysis, working-class Americans’ wages, adjusted for inflation, have just edged higher than they were on Election Day, 2020. The average working-class American can now answer “Yes” to the question, “Are you better off now than you were under Trump?”

The last time a majority of the American public thought things were heading in the right direction was in January of 2004.

At least the empirical data confirms that they are better off now than they were four years ago.
The empirical data shows the opposite. But feel free to keep lying.

It's what you do.

Yes, we are definitely better off!

I bet he even has a "front butt"?

The election comes down to the following:

1) the voters who are wealthy libs who have so much money thet don’t worry, government employees and retirees who are guaranteed raises that keep up with inflation, and welfare takers who also get bumps according to inflation as well

2) the hard-working middle and working class, who are struggling with a 20% increase in the cost of living over the last three years, and senior citizens of whom almost half rely primarily on modest social security benefits
