Update from a witness: They yelled Allahu akbar.

A witness, who asked to remain anonymous, told CBC's French-language service Radio-Canada that two masked individuals entered the mosque.

"It seemed to me that they had a Quebecois accent. They started to fire, and as they shot they yelled, 'Allahu akbar!' The bullets hit people that were praying. People who were praying lost their lives. A bullet passed right over my head," said the witness.

Apparently Quebec has had a rise in anti-Muslim attacks, and this mosque has had several. Supposedly the attackers were 3 men. I kind of doubt it would be a jihadist, but let's see what emerges.

Yes they were. They were the terrorists of the Middle East when they first arrived and appropriated the land they now call Isreal from the Palestinians who owned it. There has been brutality on all sides there. Israel and its Arab neighbours have been fighting an endless war over the Partition of Isreal.

The Israeli's have taken the Old Testament mantra of "An eye for an eye" to great extremes in dealing with Palestian terrorism. There's grievances on both side to be sure but the whole area has always been a hotbed of tribalism, and brutality. It would be best to just leave them all to kill one another, as far as I'm concerned. No good has ever come of messing around in the area.

Canada isn't an Islamic country, it is a country which embraces religious freedom and diversity. Islamic countries do not have laws against Christians nor do they murder them on sight. Lebanon has a large Christian population. There are lots of Christian westerners living and thriving in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and many other Muslim nations, so I call bullshit on your alt-right lies.
