So his definition of an assault weapon is ANY semi automatic rifle, any bolt action rifle that can hold more then a couple bullets. In other words all rifles except single shot.

Which flies straight in the face of the Supreme Courts rulings that A) a weapon must be of use, in use or common to the military in order to be protected by the 2nd and B) that the 2nd is a personal right individual and separate from any supposed collective right.

The thing that I find disturbing is people apparently taking so much joy in the fact of killing other human beings. Doesn't it bring you down to the level of the thug or hoodlum you are so censorious of?

I take no joy in the fact that the two young men died.

But I also do not see them as "victims". 7 young men attacked a 60 year old woman. They were swinging for the fences, as it were. And no, the woman should not have to cross the street (and risk being accused of racism), stayed home unless she was escorted, used a stun-gun (which would not have had the same success with so many attackers).

Do teenagers deserve the death penalty for trying to knock someone out? If you are that person, are you willing to risk your life and your health that that was all they were going to do?

The fault is not with the old lady. The fault is with the teens who attacked her as a group.

Let me help you, all the Government did is say that certain aesthetics on a semi automatic rifle made it an assault rifle. Things like a bayonet stud, care to cite for us all the bayoneting in the US? Or a flash suppressor. Care to cite for us all the unlawful flash suppressors.

Be specific define for us what type of semi automatic rifle is an Assault rifle. Explaining how the items you describe make the weapon more deadly more lethal then any other semi automatic rifle.
