Walls are rigid, inflexible, fragile. They have a poor record of controlling human desire and will over time. At best, they are a temporary measure. Pointing that out is not synonymous with arguing that the U.S. should not filter those who would enter. Again, intelligent legal processes for admission are completely justified. America is a very attractive place, thanks to what we have built.
It would be ridiculous to destroy what has been built by ignoring the dangers of totally open access.

Partly true, because without vetting those coming across the border when they cross illegally, then we are definitely going to be getting the bad with the good no doubt, and that is totally an unexceptable thing.

The same irresponsible thinking has sort of gone on within the idea that the federal government has had over the years, that somehow it is supposed to protect an entire group as being based upon the groups skin color, and not instead to be based upon the people within the group "their individual character's".

In the situation you also end up getting the bad mixed in with the good because the bad attaches itself to the good by way of skin color, and in the case of the border they are doing it by oppression, nationality, and skin color when listening to the cries of the left over the issue. Two of the above are both flawed ideas that have ended up costing good American's their lives throughout time, because the two don't reveal character, actions or intent.

The good has to be seperated from the bad in anything we do, and that is a known fact.

The only way to do it is by way of calling one's actions or by accessing their character when actions do take place.

Now there are different degrees of bad that's true, and if some are only guilty of minor offenses, then they can be worked with in life. These are those whom can be rehibilitated, but for those that commit capital offenses we don't need to be tolerent of people walking amongst us freely without us knowing who they are, and where they are at all times (hopefully they are in prison where they should be).

It's the only way it works folks, and there is no getting around it. Anyone attempting to fool the people into thinking otherwise are dispicable human beings themselves.

The same goes for white racist, black racist etc, where as there are laws that apply to those whom show themselves to be racist in violation of the law in which they may break if act out in a racist way against a person or person's of any color or over their skin color.

There should be no laws or other that protects anyone blanketly because of their color as a race, but the laws pertaining to the acting out against ones color should be very specific, and still should be based upon one's actions regardless of the color period. They should be judged by the law if their character is found to be one of a lawbreaker found in their actions there of only.

No one should be able to falsely claim racism as based upon a blanket protection that gives them a slippery slope that allows a person who is bad, to then claim racism by way of their color being pulled into it when in fact their color had nothing to do with it at all upon their breaking of the laws in this country. If people are found to be falsely claiming racism when there is none present, then penalties should follow.

Otherwise they shouldn't be able to say that years of this or that had made them terminal criminals, and that they should get a pass based upon their ancestor's being abused in the past or upon their color etc.

At some point as Martin Luther King had stated way back when, that he longed for a day when a man would not be judged upon the color of his skin, but instead that he would be judged upon the content of his character. How true that was back then, and how true it is to this very day.

All these things need to be understood if we are going to have a secure and safe border, and a secure society for all people in America, and anyone working against these truth's have alternative motives that are not good for the citizens of this nation on whole, and not good for our government moving foward.

But most Dems stand for helping the poor and being an inviting safe haven for immigrants and people in need. If Trump really wants to improve border security he should couple his messaging with one that is constructive and inviting towards immigrants in need. Not just for the educated and wealthy (those with merit). I don’t think he is interested in doing this as he score political points with his base by inflaming the war.

When he says he only wants the “best” it leaves a void for those who are poor and oppressed and in search of a better life. This is the story that many of our ancestors share so this elitist attitude is off putting to many.
