Maybe. I’m not aware of McCabe lying to Congress. But each case is an individual consideration, depends a lot on the strength of the case. Convincing a jury that someone is lying isn’t always as easy as it might seem. Just saying something untrue isn’t illegal, you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person knew they were lying. That was actually pretty simple for Stone given the documentation in his text messages.
