What purpose would that serve, other than making people panic?

It's like common sense flies out the window when you're so invested in attacking the government.

Yeah. That would be better than waiting for it to happen then say "We knew it all the time". They got this HUGE Intel Operation going but they can't use it help US? Not even ONE TIME?

If the Government has info on an imminent attack then they SHOULD tell us so we can prepare.

How are you going to prepare for a nuclear bomb...when you don't know when, where or how and the only intel you have is a guess? Your only option if you are in NY...leave until you think there is no threat. Maybe 5 or 6 million people can try to leave at the same time.

Why couldn't it be Chicago or Detroit?

The point is, none of them snuck across the borders. They flew in, went through customs, etc, etc. All entered the country legally.
