The electors are chosen by the respective political parties prior to knowing which candidate becomes certified by the state to be the winner. By law only the certified winner of the state can be represented by the that winning party’s pre-chosen electors.

No fraudulent votes to this day have been thrown out in all the seven states where Donald Trump convinced so many MAGA dumbasses Saint Lennypartiv to submit fake certificates without seeing any court decide that fraudulent Biden votes were to be thrown out therefore making Trump/Pence the winners of their state.

A Trump-aligned lawyer who tried to convince Arizona legislative leaders in late 2020 that they could “reallocate” the state’s presidential electors on Tuesday became the latest ally of the former president to plead guilty in Georgia’s election conspiracy case.
Jenna Ellis pleaded guilty to one count of to one count of aiding and abetting false statements, a felony.

She traveled to Phoenix with Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani in November 2020 to convene a listening session on the results of the presidential race. Trump lost Arizona by fewer than 11,000 votes, and the daylong session was intended to gather information to bolster the case for state lawmakers to act in a special session.

Their efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, as then-House Speaker Rusty Bowers resisted repeated attempts to overturn the election results. Bowers said there was no evidence to do so.

A month after the election, Ellis wrongly stated 500,000 ballots were fraudulently cast in Arizona. That statement, along with other lies about the 2020 election that she repeated in various interviews, led to a disciplinary hearing in Colorado.
