Specifically, the Biden-Harris administration finalized regulations in April that will require existing coal plants to use carbon capture and storage (CCS) to control 90% of their carbon emissions by 2032 if they want to stay running past 2039, and certain new natural gas plants will also have to cut their emissions by 90% by 2032, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. The federal government maintains that the rules will not degrade grid reliability, though power grid experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation that they are expecting the opposite if the rules are enforced.​

Democrats: We need to get rid of fossil fuels.

The Democrats' wet dream is to phase out fossil fuels and be 100% renewable energy. California has already set this bold and unachievable goal by 2045. Yet, the demand continues to grow, and now that there are 8M+ more people in the United States with no end in sight under Democratic leadership, it will require modernizing the existing grid and additional power sources.

As an electrical engineer, it is my opinion that our power grid is already very unreliable and is only barely managing to stay afloat by switch loads around through a distributive network of stealing from Peter to pay Paul. If the Bidenistas carry out their green energy plans, America will be in perpetual brown out and under energy conservation orders by decade's end.

And that is BEFORE they even carry out their mad plan to make America's transportation system 100% EV electric.
