Amy Klobuchar

I have some swampland in Florida I will sell you to.
No you wont.

:11_2_1043:

Sure I will! I can buy it for next to nothing, and if you give me a 10% profit, it is well worth my effort, lol.

In all honesty, you are looking at this race from your perspective, and there is nothing wrong with that. You are saying---------> a + b =c.

That is NOT how the Leftist mind works, lol.

They are saying-------------> if we can convince everyone that a + b = whatever we say it is, then we can convince them to vote for whomever we want!

Consider the logic of the Left if you will---------------> Obama created the economy you see now, Trump just didn't do enough to screw it up! Therefore, thank Obama!

On the other hand, virtually every DEMOCRAT running for the Presidency, wants to throw out not only what Trump did, but what Obama did too, and change it to SOCIALISM.

So we aren't keeping Trump, nor Obama, we are going almost 100% in a totally new direction that mirrors total failure throughout history, and they are trying to convince you that this, is a good idea, because they come from the party of Obama?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Now, I don't know what you think, but using such absurd logic for a debate point that totally fails, is usually called a CLUE-)

Not sure about Klobuchar but you are right about Molten Salt Nuclear Reactors. It is the most sensible solution to providing clean energy.
.
Well, I am still going to vote for Trump, God Willing, but I think she has the best shot at beating him (other than Yang and Gabbard, neither of whom can get the nom).

I think that by the year 2100 AD, Thorium MS reactors will be providing 80% of the worlds energy.

So when is your company going to start building them?

Moderate Democrat

(noun)

1. An actor who brings the Progressive end of the Democratic Party into power through the back door.
Lol, not true.

There are lots of moderate Democrats that want to avoid full blown Socialism but they are way to comfortable with statism.

Lol, but Klobuchar is not a leftist. She is a classic liberal dogooder.

Lol, Klobuchar to an early lead. :p

I have a vague feeling that Amy Klobuchar might win New Hampshire tonight. She is the only one, besides Andrew Yang, who has stood up against the pandering tactics used by the rest of the candidates, and has denounced socialism.
Right now I think she has the best chance of beating Trump in the general, but are DNC members even aware of her strengths? Honestly, I had not given her much thought til the debate last Friday night.
She is a moderate across the board, except for supporting the Green New Deal, which could work if they pushed Thorium Molten Salt Reactors instead of banning it reflexively as a part of a generic 'nuclear is bad' reaction.
She wants to ban evil looking semi-automatic rifles, which is stupid and she is not in favor of Medicare for all, like most of the others.
She seems like a solid Democrat moderate alternative to Sleepy Joe Biden.

I like her.
She is also from the Midwest and from a swing state- both pluses.

I think she would be a good candidate, either for the first or second positions on the ticket.

I like Amy and think she'll do well tonight but 3rd place is her best hope. Sleepy Joe is cooked, he'll come in fourth or fifth. Don't rule out Pete. He's also a moderate, and COULD come in ahead of Crazy Bernie.

Klobuchar's behavior at the Kavanaugh hearings pretty much ID'd her to me. She played right along with what was prescribed.

Compared to the rest of the Democrats running she seems relatively sane. However I sincerely hope that Trump wins a second term.

If molten salt reactors are put into service at the level you predict it would positively change the global economy and environment. The fact that thorium molten salt reactors can use spent fuel rods that are presently sitting in nuclear waste stockpiles is but one of the many huge advantages they offer.

The only person who can beat Trump is.... Trump.

If we have to have a Dem, I'd prefer Amy. I always enjoy watching her debate, because she debates, she doesn't hide behind insults and isms, and she lets her opponent speak without interrupting. I suspect she is much more moderate than her current positions suggest.

I'd say she finishes a surprise second, and will have Big Mo with that finish.

Of the top 5, she is really the only serious candidate running. She would be by far the most formidable opponent for Trump in the general. Trump would be making a big mistake assuming Amy is Hillary 2.0. She is not "crooked Amy." Trump would have to stop calling names and treat her with respect to win...

1% reported. Seems Fox is trying to influence those Dems who watch Fox, who probably aren't Bernie supporters.

The question is, do these very early results encourage Amy supporters to go out as they see she has a chance, or Bernies to make sure he catches up?
Some of those counties in NH are early voter leading indicators, supposedly.

I'm just thinking that Sleepy Joe's poor showing might be shifting people to Klobuchar.

Of the top five I think Andrew Yang is the best, but his year will be 2024, not this year.

Andrew Yang supports giving all homeless drug addicts something like $17k per year. He isn't a serious candidate.

She might beat old Joe but she won't win the thing
I think she will win and Sanders will have a solid second place finish that will mortally wound his campaign.

The DNC really hates Sanders in ways most cannot imagine.

However, ask yourself what side Fox is on.

Why would they release "results" when they have only 1% in? LOL

Possibly. I can't imagine Warren or Buttigieg being able to beat Trump in a head-to-head debate, but she might.
