Anger as Republicans block bill to help military veterans exposed to toxins

Darling, I believe no politician and have state so many times on this board.
That's why I use common sense, that's something foreign to you.
If the Senators voted for the Bill first, and then the Bill changed and they
came back and couldn't get the votes, there is a very good reason why not.
It''s not because they all the sudden don't like vets, I can assure you of that.
But, nothing will change yours and Bodies mind, so have at it.
I would be embarrassed to be agreeing with Bodie. just sayin'
Your “common sense” is severely lacking.

The bills have been posted on this thread and you choose NOT to believe your own lying eyes

The VFW has confirmed it as well but you think THEY are lying as well

Vets have on voice, and neither party cares

I remember the VA scandal in Arizona. This doctor sees patients falsely being recorded as treated when they were really left to die without being treated. The reason? No staffing and resources, so they let the very sick just die alone at home.

So he becomes a whistleblower to the big Republican John McCain, Mr. Veteran himself. But after he writes his letter and sends it, he is promptly thrown under the bus by McCain and fired.

If it were not for some obscure Republican Congressman in Florida, none of it would have hit the media and we would never have known, but even when revealed, the then President Obama just fired a no nothing bureaucrat who had nothing to do with it and swept it all back under the rug.
Can you link the story to read please?

Kids considering fighting for these sociopath bureaucrats need to know this, that is, before being left behind in places like Afghanistan to die or even Somalia.
Horse shit.

It’s obvious that REPUBLICANS don’t care

It’s all over this thread

It's not a lie. 400 billion would be moved to discretionary spending. That's why the Gop voted against it.

Seriously this is all over the news
Hey DumbIrishBitch

Have you read the bills? They’re on this thread

You’re wrong

In fact you’re stupidly wrong. Toomey WANTS it to be discretionary

It never was in either version. It was and is mandatory spending

To be conservative is to be willfully ignorant.

To be conservative is to be a blind partisan hack.

To be conservative is to blindly defend Republicans at all costs – no matter how wrong and reprehensible those Republicans are.

Democrats should have left the bill alone then. Republicans were ok with it's original version.
The bill never changed in any substantive way.

It was mandatory funding in its first version and it’s still mandatory funding

Do you recall whining that it was changed to discretionary funding?

It wasn’t .

Toomey WANTS it to be discretionary so it gets turned into a political football each year

Will you please shut up with your nonsense. Nobody believes you

Well the TRUTH came out, Dems tried to pack $400 billion in PORK into the bill, hence Republicans voted against it.
At this point you fuckers are flat out lying. No more excuses

There is NO PORK IN THE BILLS… either versions

Shut up liars. Go raise taxes on the poor and middle class you know you want to. There's billions of tax increases in the Biden/Dem so called inflation act.

Why is it when Republicans are called out on their lies, they just lie more?
