My guess is she is more like this fellow. Michael Harrington (not the conservative journalist) this one wrote a book called The Other America. As a member of the other America, I do not agree with his assessment of the poor in this country. But it was from what some have said sparked The War On Poverty programs. Which is exactly why many Hispanics are flooding to the Republican party. They've heard about this "Democratic socialism" before. That's how it all starts just before they drop off the word Democratic. In their defense though, countries like Venezuela, Iran, Russia, and others do have democratic elections.
