Yeah they are not going to get any he pardon overturned. If the DA wants to hold him accountable he will need to charge him with a new set of crimes to be charged for
 
blocking traffic and pointing a gun at people stuck in their car is a perfect case of self defense
 

i thought so. a pardon is a pardon. the governor said he was going to do it. they will just have to live with it.
Texas law / Constitution is somewhat specific here. IIRC but the Governor has to wait until the Board of Pardons recommends a Pardon. I believe that was done in this case. He did tell the Board he wanted to pardon Perry, but I don't think he has formal authority ove rthem. I could be wrong.
 
If he succeeds, he is opening the floodgate for overturning future pardons. Be careful what you wish for dude.
