The worst maneuver possible was for Biden to issue an ultimatum....which is exactly what he did.

There are going to be more reporters than guards and migrants combined tomorrow watching what unfolds at the border.

Pictures of military fighting our own military?
Pictures of FBI trying to arrest Guardsmen?
Nevermind the average citizens coming to back up the Texas National Guard....

Nothing plays out well for Biden.
Either he is ineffective or a tyrant. No middle ground here.

One bullet gets fired and it's going to be portrayed as another civil war or a massacre or insurrection.....none of it is going to do Biden any favors come November. His political future is toast. (However colorful it's been at this point)

Or, shit goes down and Biden gets a new campaign platform. "Republicans are destroying our country!" He will talk about maga republicans letting poor innocent migrants die in a river, nasty mean razor wife hurting people, how they decide a direct order and refused to comply and when ordered to stand down they attacked us military forces and had a uprising against democracy, and so on.

Instigating an altercation has its benefits for him because then the MSM and the current administration can paint Texas and republicans in a negative light and it gives them a greenlight to start going after his political components.

Abbot still has the Texas Rangers and local LEOs, and I’d be willing to bet most of the Guardsmen who are non-obligated will refuse to muster. I’m not sure about the Guard, but when I was in the Reserves, prior service people were essentially members at will and could quit on a moments notice. If that applies to the Guard, Biden would find himself with units composed of E-1s under contract with no NCOs or officers and the Rangers and LEOs would have a lot of well trained temporary deputies. I can’t see the active duty military firing on brother soldiers when they are trying to repel an unofficial invasion by foreign citizens and drug cartels.

Biden is using every thorny issue that he can use in order to paint the GOP as these racist, evil unapologetic, non- empathetic, greedy out of touch human beings that just want to hurt and discourage asylum seeker's from coming across the border to freedom. Biden remaining in the driver's seat of this nation comes with dire consequences. What's the old saying - "you can't fight city hall".

The only hope is to play along in a very fake way until we can get the old aged riddled man out of office this year.

Everything can be reversed, and it is that people need to go to jail, especially when it comes to our children and this new ideology against them.
