Black Americans are demanding to know what “Black jobs” are after former President Trump used the phrase in Thursday’s debate with President Biden in Atlanta.

In response to the first 2024 general election debate’s only question on Black voters, Trump took a shot at Biden’s immigration stance.

“The fact is that his big kill on the Black people is the millions of people that he’s allowed to come in through the border,” Trump said. “They’re taking Black jobs now and it could be 18, it could be 19 and even 20 million people. They’re taking Black jobs, and they’re taking Hispanic jobs, and you haven’t seen it yet, but you’re gonna see something that’s going to be the worst in our history.”

Black social media users immediately demanded an explanation of what constitutes a “Black job.”

“What exactly are Black and Hispanic Jobs!?!” the NAACP posted to X.

Black jobs are jobs that blacks hold or have held. How is this hard? If leftwingers talk about black unemployement, then that means there are jobs held by blacks.

Most hispanic illegals come from a part of the world where there is no public assistence. You either work like a dog and learn how to work quickly, or you starve. The only other choice is to be a criminal to make it.

So right off the bat, when it comes to lower wage jobs.. Hispanic immigrants generally by culture can outwork whites and blacks, at least with effort and speed. It creates more competition and takes jobs away from Americans. You can take the other side of this and say, those Hispanics deserve those jobs if Americans are not as good at it or dont have the will to do them, but I dont buy it. Our politicians' jobs require them to put their own citizens first... not the citizens of other countries. Americans who dont work, can LEARN to work. But its much harder now when there are millions more immigrants who will snap up those entry level jobs.

Most of this humanitarianism comes from affluent Democrats who dont really understand how poorer Americans have to struggle. They see us all as numbers on a paper.

Grievance politics. We'll see how it plays out.
