Or if somebody went to get a loan from the bank. The bank would refuse the applicant only because the bank has limited money; the rich people have it all.

There is no "the wealth" because money is unlimited in the US. If you're not making enough money, it has noting to do with what rich people have, it has to do with your government and your lack of experience or lack of training to earn more. Since that's the case with all people who don't make a "livable wage" then taking money from the rich people won't help that problem.

The top 50% of income earners paid 97% of the income taxes collected in 2013. Federal revenue, of which 57% is from income taxes, was $2.7 trillion dollars. That means $1.54 trillion of that total was from income taxes. The 50% of the income earners that paid the 97% of that accounted for $1.50 trillion of that. If those people are paying that much in income taxes, it's why they have that much wealth. They can accumulate it because they have the income to do it.

Since WE're footing that bill, there is no problem with benefiting from the earnings in order to accumulate the wealth.

What about all the other taxes, brainwashed functional moron? Fed income taxes are about the same as payroll taxes now. We basically have a flat tax system now, with all the new wealth staying with the 1% and the middle class and the country going to hell, Great job, New BS GOP and its silly dupes.

The people who complain the most about others having money are those who made a lot of mistakes in life and never tried to make money for themselves. They are an embarrassment to this country.

Some foreigners come here with twenty bucks in their pocket and only knowing a few words of English. As time goes on, they eventually end up business owners and work night and day. They buy into franchises like subway shops and 7-11's. Perhaps they buy or open up their own beverage or convenience store.

Those foreigners don't care what corporations make. They don't care what CEO's make. They don't care what Walmart makes. Their only concern is how they can use the opportunity of freedom in this country to be the best they can be.

The beverage store I go to is owned by people from India. They have a thriving business. It's mostly family, but they've provided jobs to people in the neighborhood. Because they are success minded, they are open seven days a week including holidays. After they started doing well, they didn't go out and spend every dollar. They invested their profits into real estate and are also landlords.

Payroll taxes are not the same as income taxes.

Most people get their payroll taxes back, because most of your taxes are Social Security and Medicare. If you live to the average age (78 years old) you will not only get back everything you put in, you will likely get more back than you put in.

When you figure that you will get back nearly everything you put in with payroll taxes, the rich pay much more of their percentage of wealth than do any working person.

My suggestion is that the government needs to tax entertainment more. For every dollar the theater charges patrons to see a movie/theater, the government should get 2 dollars. Example if it now costs $15.00 to see a movie, it will cost patrons $45.00. If it now costs $50.00 to see a sports event, it should cost $150.00. And if it now costs $100.00 to see a Madonna Concert, it should now cost $300.

Too much! So sad! People can live without entertainment. And the sooner the liberals are hit in their pocket, the sooner they will see that THEY are no different and far less important.
