Chew on This One; Trump Won 44% of the Hispanic Voters in Nevada

Trump will NOT be the nominee......be careful about trashing the guy who will be...RUBIO.

Can you essplain how Rubio can do that?

Trumps opposition is split between Evangelical social conservative led by Cruz (and Trump has most of those voters anyway) and establishment voters led by Rubio. Note that the opposition social conservative wing is again split between Cruz and Carson, while the establishment wing is split between Rubio and Kasich.

Not only is Trumps opposition divided, but each of those camps are again divided.

Unless Cruz starts swinging for the bleachers and wins Texas and several more states next Tuesday March 1, Trump has this in the bag.

Yep, the guy that supposedly hates Hispanics and is wanting to deport all of them, he won 44% of Hispanics voters.

When have Trumps critics been right about this guy? I mean like EVER?

Nevada caucuses results: Donald Trump wins Latino vote - CNN Video
only 9 percent of the Latinos voted in the republican primaries so it's 44 percent of 9 percent goober

It was about 6,000 Hispanic votes and 9 percent of Latinos PARTICIPATING IN A GOP CAUCUS IS HUGE, dude.

There is no way for yo to spin this as inconsequential.

Isn't Latino participation relatively low to begin with?

The "opposition research" boys from all concerned parties are 24/7 looking into Trump's past. You know there's dirt there, maybe a mountain of it. There's also his personality and how cocky he's getting.....when he gets booed he goes apeshit and reveals his true colors in many areas a conservative won't like. He did it in the last debate and it was ignored....that luck can't hold. So the way Rubio takes over is to do away with Cruz and the rest and take on Trump on specifics. He can turn to Trump in debates and ask him detailed questions about how government works and get the deer in the headlights stare like he got about the nuclear triad. Trump doesn't know how the government works...he simply doesn't. And at age 70, he doesn't have the energy or inclination to find out....that's where Rubio's experience will whip Trump's ass.

I think we would have seen the dirt by now if there was any.

See, I think Trump has a strong distaste for anyone that has known him personally being angry with him or having it out for him, so he basically buys their loyalty with jobs and business ties that make them wealthy in turn. They are not going to ruin that by coming out with dirt on Trump. There is no one in his past who has any motivation to bring him down as he is their gravy train too.

So the way Rubio takes over is to do away with Cruz and the rest and take on Trump on specifics.

Heah, I guess he just waves his magical fairy wand and poof Cruz bows out? And then you think most if not all of Cruzes people go to Rubio instead of splitting with all four candidates? Sure Rubio got most of Bushes donors and could get the lions share of Cruzes supporters should he leave.

But he WONT get the voters.

Besides, Cruz hates Rubio more than he dislikes Trump as their on-going spat is much longer and more visceral than anything that pops up over the last month.

Lol, yeah the first term junior Senator knows how the government works better than a man who has been building buildings for the government among other customers for decades?

lol, sure, whatever.

A great orator. A successful businessman. Takes shit from no one. An undisputed AMERICAN. The military loves him.

Dear Lord - Obama just can't measure up. Hell, Obama can't measure up to a shit-collector.

A great orator?? Are you fucking stupid?

He talks like a 6th grader -- and appeals to people with the same mentality.

He is incapable of explaining one specific policy idea -- realistic policy idea.
So you voting for Pantsuit dumass?
Yes, he is a stupid ni#ger he will do as he is told.
nice...

show your colors much?

In fact, Donald Trump alone captured 34,531 votes in his near-landslide victory in the state, surpassing the total votes cast in the same contest four years ago.

Trump didn't win all 75,000 votes in Nevada

8% of 34,531.

2762.

43 won over 40% of the Hispanic vote when he was elected both times.

8% isn't enough to chew on.

yeah, I took 8% of the GOP total, then did 45% of that, roughly, to get 2700.

He is not a great orator

Successful business man--his kids are running his company so I give you this one

yes, he is irritable and has a tin ear.

The military loves him? How do you know this?

Isn't Latino participation relatively low to begin with?

Of course, they are only about 12% of the population, generally.

I didn't say they were a small percentage of the population. That goes without saying. I said is not the participation rate of Latinos very low relative to their fraction of the population?

44% of Hispanic REPUBLICANS. So like 10
Unless he is literally so popular with Hispanics that they are switching party allegiances well in advance your point is moot.

He doesn't even get a chance to win the vast majority of Hispanics in a Republican PRIMARY.

I think we would have seen the dirt by now if there was any.

Nah, there's dirt alright and it's being saved for when it can do the most damage.

 No matter who you are you have others in the background who'd like to see you cut down a peg and Trump must have thousands! And dirt doesn't have to be attributed to a particular person or a living person, or a person he forgot to keep buying off. There's there there, my friend.

Rubio gets Cruz voters by proxy....if they're true fans they'll do anything in their power to get back at The Donald and that means siding with Marco. Besides, Cruz is running out of money with his dismal performances since Iowa because now everybody knows he's a dirtbag....even his followers.

Absolutely! Before he ran for the Senate, Rubio was whip, majority leader, and speaker of the Florida House. Now he's on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Trump has ZERO experience in foreign policy or making sausage in Congress.....he can't scream "YOU'RE FIRED!" when he doesn't get his way in the Big Casino....they'll put him on ice and he'll wander back to his real estate deals.....plus he's an old man and probably prone to taking several naps a day same as Reagan was.

Nevada caucuses results: Donald Trump wins Latino vote - CNN Video

Here is the bigger news. If Trump can capture 15% of the black vote and 35% of the Hispanic vote he will win the election. Both are highly obtainable.

If Trump wins that much of the Hispanic and black vote, he will be President.

But ...

  • Did Trump win Hispanics in Nevada? ... the entrance poll had Trump beating Rubio 45 percent to 28 percent among Hispanics. But keep in mind that the sample size on that result is somewhere between 100 and 200 people. That means the margin of sampling error for the Hispanic subgroup is near +/- 10 percentage points (or even higher). Perhaps more importantly, just 8 percent of Republican voters were Hispanic (or 1 percent of the Nevadan Hispanic population), and they are not politically representative of the larger Hispanic community.
Nevada Was Great For Donald Trump, Bad For Ted Cruz

Hispanics were 8% of the vote. The Hispanic population of Nevada is 27%. So it is not necessarily representative of the Hispanic vote in Nevada.

In fact, it may be bad for Trump. Trump's Hispanic vote was within the margin of error of the polls, i.e. the polls in Nevada were correct. But polls of the broader, national Hispanic population have Trump with sky-high negatives. So if the Nevada poll confirms Hispanic voting trends, it appears that Trump isn't doing well amongst all Hispanics in the country.

The issue is who carries the Latino vote in the general election between Clinturd and Rubio....I can tell you Rubio will clobber her and bring in tens of thousands of other ex-dems who got promised everything and delivered nothing.

The numbers are in.

44% of Republican hispanic vote = a few hundred people.

What a fucking failure of a thread.

Lol, you really are a stupid fuck.

About 75,000 people voted in the GOP primary there, as compared to the barely over 10,000 for the Democrats.

According to the exit polls, about 8% were Hispanic voters, so that makes about 6,000 voters, a very good sampling of voters, in fact.

Trump took about 2,700 of those votes, about what Hillary Clintons ENTIRE VOTE in Nevada, stupid jack ass.
There were about 80-85,000 Democratic voters on Saturday, not 10,000. Where do these numbers you guys keep spouting on turnout come from?

There were 16,000 Hispanic voters in the Democratic Caucus on Saturday. 73% of Hispanics that participated in a caucus this week in Nevada participated in the Democratic Caucus. Trump received less than 20% of that 16k.

Looks to me like President Trump will get the GOP nomination, which of course means, happy days are soon to be here again! What's first - deport filthy Muslims and Mexicans. Next on the agenda? Round-up, question, and deport if necessary those Liberal assholes with socialist/anti-American views. Can't wait. My dick is getting hard just thinking about it.

Trump '16
Sounds like a great platform for Germany 1934.
