Well, since you don't buy what the protesters were originally protesting about, I can see why you think that. CK did get SOME attention on the issue prior to this huge kerfluffle. Personally, I salute the flag. I don't like to see it set on fire or used as a rug, but I keep reminding myself it is only a piece of fabric and what a protester does to symbolically attack it is only symbolic as well. We are a strong country and we remain free enough to allow people to be angry and act that out in peaceable demonstration. We went through all of this back in the 60's and 70's. Do we really have to go through this all again? There's better stuff to worry about."Make them Stand" LOLYeah right. Try putting all that on a bumper sticker!

No one should have to make you stand. You should stand and show respect to the country where you live because you live here. If someone is protesting because of perceptions they have in certain situations, this is not the way to fix the problem. If they think it is, they deserve to be chastised not for standing but for being a dumbass.
