The only evidence of a memo is that a WAPO reporter said it was read to him over the phone. He never saw it. Comey never claimed he wrote a memo. WAPO reporters said that FBI agents routinely memorialized meetings with memos.
If all this sounds familiar, it's because this was the same thing that happened when Dan Rather claimed to have a memo about George Bush. The man that was rumored to have written the memo disavowed it. Rather wrote one himself.
Mueller is going to question Comey about the memo and if none is produced, it will officially not exist. Although, even such a memo proves that there was no pressure put on Comey to let Flynn off the hook. "I hope you can let this go" isn't exactly an order. It isn't even obstruction "Let this go and I'll see that you get a room and a hooker the Secret Service would be proud of" IS obstruction.

Technically, it's COMEY who's guilty of obstruction of justice for not reporting Trump's supposed attempt to shut down the Flynn investigation...which of course never happened and Comey will confirm it never happened. If he doesn't, Sessions can have him picked up immediately after his appearance.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Former FBI Director James Comey plans to confirm reports that President Donald Trump pressured him to drop an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn's ties to Russia in congressional testimony, CNN said on Wednesday, citing an unidentified source close to the issue.

The Senate Intelligence Committee said on May 19 that Comey, who was fired by Trump 10 days earlier, would testify before the panel publicly at some point after Monday's Memorial Day holiday. CNN said the testimony could come as early as next week.
Representatives of the committee would not comment on the report..
