There's something very pathetic about the hashtag response to this. BushII and even Slick would have been more forthright in doing something positive ... assuming they found this was an issue America has a stake in.

But there's also something very ugly and meanspirited in the RW response. Frankly it mocks the girls' plight as much as the wet noodle response by the administration. Compare it to the calls (misguided though they are) that we should have militarily interveded in Syria, then Libya and now Iraq. There's a full blooded RW reactionary screech there. Unconfirmed Information reaching our desk has it that Boko Haram has killed one of the girls they abducted about 3 weeks ago. A video was sent to us showing a barbaric and gruesome killing of a young girl, buried uprightly in the ground to her neck level and stoned till she died.
Is this a move by the sect to prove to the world that they are not bothered with the readiness of the international bodies to see to the rescue of these young girls?. What could their intentions be for carrying out such a dastardly act?
