Dems push psychological evaluations for gun owners and 'family members'

As you know, I live in a red state. This red state has plenty of you Northerners coming down, in fact, it is one of the fastest-growing places in the country. Hard to believe you folks would move from that lap of luxury in the NE and Midwest to come to a third world country

Not really. People go to third world countries all the time for the warm weather, as long as they get to keep you peasants at arms length... but again, since you never say what state it is... you are probably embarrassed by it.

No, it is not in our DNA any more than in other countries around the world. That is the left's narrative they use to control ignorant voters. It works...there are a LOT of them.

Our country had "Blacks are 3/5th of a white person written into the constitution.. Yes, it's been there since the very beginning.

Right out of college, I briefly worked as a manager of an establishment that had minimum wage workers. I can assure you that it wasn't my management skills or lack thereof that had anything to do with getting those folks to be responsible and do their jobs. It was a constant struggle. If it was a Union outfit, those same workers would have made twice the salary and been harder to fire. Sorry, but a company is only as good as its workers. Paying one guy more than the other simply based on some Union rules based on tenure is not a recipe for success.

Actually... um. No. The problem is, minimum wage jobs are never going to be ones people care about. But you give a man an actual livlihood, he'll take it seriously.

How do you propose people to be hired if it isn't their resume, which includes their education and their work experiences along with an interview? Professional references are typically required for well-paying jobs as well. I am not really sure what your point here is unless you think we should just start appointing people to jobs.

For those playing along at home, I write resumes professionally. While I am happy to have helped thousands of people find jobs, the whole method of how we hire people are broken.

Point being, we have it completely wrong. Every American should have the RIGHT to a job that pays a living wage, and there is more than enough wealth to accomplish that. We just refuse to do it.

And, of course, this was to reduce the power of the slave owning states...to fight slavery at the beginning of the country........the slave owners who would go on to found the democrat party, the party of slavery, a party you support. The group that went on to found the democrat party tried to count slaves for representation in the new government.....and good people had to find a way to stop them from getting that power.....at the time, the best they could do was deny them counting their slaves toward their power in the new government.

Yes...everyone in the Soviet Union was given a job...........that didn't turn out so well....

You have to work and earn a job ...... giving a job that someone didn't earn ends in waste.

Why can’t you do even a little research. Blacks weren’t 3/5 of a person. Slaves were. That was a compromise, the slave owners wanted what they considered as property like their cows and horses counted in the census to increase the slave owner’s political power. The free states didn’t want slaves counted at all.

There was the joke in the USSR, “as long as the bosses pretend to pay us we will pretend to work.“

Our country had "Blacks are 3/5th of a white person written into the constitution.. Yes, it's been there since the very beginning.

They wanted blacks to be counted as citizens but not enough to vote. That's why they wrote it that way.

Actually... um. No. The problem is, minimum wage jobs are never going to be ones people care about. But you give a man an actual livlihood, he'll take it seriously.

We don't give people livelihoods, they give that to themselves. Giving livelihoods is not the responsibility of our federal government.

Wait a minute, a right to a job that pays a living wage? Who is going to pay that living wage, the government?

You can't force an industry into shutting down because workers have the right to a living wage, whatever the fuck that's supposed to be. A company pays wages so they can produce a service or product that is able to make them a profit. If wages surpass that ability for them to do so, they shutdown.

You don’t “give” a man a livelihood. He earns it by getting an education. And developing job skills.

Again, you are thinking like a serf. Oh, please be kind to us, rich people, and we can beg and scrape to feed our families.

They wanted blacks to be counted as citizens but not enough to vote. That's why they wrote it that way.

It doesn't matter WHY they wrote it that way, that they wrote it at all was the problem.

We don't give people livelihoods, they give that to themselves. Giving livelihoods is not the responsibility of our federal government.

Again, why not? There's plenty of work to be done and there's plenty of money around to pay for them to be done. The problem is, we let the rich control the money and the jobs....

I know, I know "EEEEEK, SOCIALISM" Ray screams as he waits for his disability check.

Wait a minute, a right to a job that pays a living wage? Who is going to pay that living wage, the government?

We have a GDP of 26 TRILLION. That's the value of all the goods and services produced in the US.

There's more than enough money to pay everyone a living wage. In fact, if you divided that up equally among the 200 Million working age people, every working person could make six figures. Wait, wait, Ray is going to scream "SOOOOCIALISM!!!"

Do the democrats call for an 'evaluation' to exercise any other parts of the Bill of Rights?

I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted an "evaluation" to allow conservatives/Republicans to exercise ANY of the Bill of Rights.

Well, women have to have all those unnecessary tests to have an abortion in a red state. You have to have special forms of ID or you can't vote. The children of blacks and gays can't attend "Christian" schools. So many "special" conservative rules.
Black children can't attend Christian schools?

Are you ever not a lying sack of dogshit?

Every time you post one of these little gems, I have to ask "Are you an American, living in the USA?", because your posts reveal an astounding lack of general knowledge about life in the USA in general.

I've have several American parents tell me they enrolled their kids in "Christian" schools so they wouldn't have to go to schools with blacks.

ooohh "several" how many is that 3?

So who should control the jobs? I don't know why people like you don't move to Cuba or North Korea where you'd be much happier. No guns except those in government, they throw people in prison because they simply don't like their ideas or different political ideology, free government healthcare, no real Constitution, and the government controls all the work and money. Based on what you think, it would be utopia for you.

They wouldn't make anything because there would be no jobs. Who would create wealth that they would only be forced to give away? Nobody. Like I told you before, if you don't want the wealthy to have money, quit giving them yours. Yet this week and perhaps several times this week, you are going to take your money and move it to the top. You are going to pay those billion dollar companies, who have multi-millionaire CEO's, who have yachts, limos, and five or six mansions around the world, not to mention a golf resort. Quit giving them your money if you don't want them to have it.

Facts with no evidence.

Donald Trump never filed a personal bankruptcy. Trump owned or operated over 500 businesses in his career, and filed business bankruptcies five times. That's a 1% failure rate any CEO would be happy to have as their record.

Point being, we have it completely wrong. Every American should have the RIGHT to a job that pays a living wage, and there is more than enough wealth to accomplish that. We just refuse to do it.
You don’t “give” a man a livelihood. He earns it by getting an education. And developing job skills.

Donald Trump was gave a livelihood so this does not apply to all.

No...actually, he wasn't. Unlike a lot of people who came from wealthy families who squander their wealth or do nothing with the opportunity, Trump took his opportunities and worked hard and smart and became a billionaire.......

You don't know what you are talking about.

He failed many times over and was bailed out by dad. He squandered his wealth more than once. Luckily he had deep pockets daddy providing for him.

Facts.

And yet.......he made a fortune while others squandered their money or did nothing....

You asshats just can't get him out of your heads....

I have to chuckle at Trump supporters complaining about people getting things handed to them.

Facts with no evidence.

Donald Trump never filed a personal bankruptcy. Trump owned or operated over 500 businesses in his career, and filed business bankruptcies five times. That's a 1% failure rate any CEO would be happy to have as their record.

Irrelevant to the point. He made it because he had millions handed to him.

You don't know what you're talking about. You have to know money and be able to work with it to keep it. I knew several companies where the owner passed away or became severely ill, gave the company to his silver spoon kids, and they ran it out of business. They didn't know how to continue doing what Dad did.

There are books written on lottery winners. They claim hitting the lottery was the worst thing that happened in their lives. In spite of the millions they won, they were broke in a year, and even had huge debts to pay, especially to the IRS.

Trump SR's worth was about 200 million dollars, divided up among Donald and his three siblings. Nobody knows the distribution, however we do know that the grandchildren took it to court and there was a settlement, again, nobody knows the amount.

Trump Sr died in 1999. Donald took whatever he inherited and became a multi-billionaire.
