So did he get the gun illegally ?With the kids history, he never should have been able to get even one gun. This was a failure on all involved
No and that is the problem. The local authorities had been well aware of this kids potential for violence......the school kicked him out after years(?) of trouble with him, DCF had been involved somehow & local cops had been to his house 39 times over 7 years for things like 'mentally ill person', domestic disturbance, child/elderly abuse.......these should have been enough to raise red flags at the time.

We have records that show 39 times police were called to this one particular home where the shooter lived with his family since 2010. The calls, as delineated by the records, are for things like 'mentally ill person,' 'domestic disturbance,' many 9-1-1 hang-up calls, a 'child-elderly abuse' call, some for missing person calls.
most of this stuff had happened before he was 18
