After 30 years of Voodoo: worst min. wage, work conditions, illegal work safeguards, vacations, work week, college costs, rich/poor gap, upward social mobility, % homeless and in prison EVAH, and in the modern world!!Your convoluted stats that show the wealthy making so much don't account for the reality of the modern global world. Of course the CEO of an international is making more than the generic checker at any single store in the US. It's unrealistic to expect to /not/ see such a reflection in the stats. The stupid comes in when the cashier truly believes, is encouraged to believe, that (s)he, who can't even make change without the register doing the math for her, could possibly do the job of the CEO and oversee the health, viability, and profits of an international string of stores that employee's thousands and juggles billions of dollars in assets on a daily basis.
The dolt can barely even get her ass into work on time, (s)he can't even be trusted to balance her damn till at the end of her shift, we're forced to pay managers to do that, (s)he gives two fucks for the state of the company, only cares for her pathetic little social life. Yes, that green grass on the other side of the fence hides a rainbow pot... of fools gold. Dolts have no clue what it takes to even run a small business, much less a corporation, or a global conglomerate, but yeah, sure, they are worth more to the company and deserve more "equal" pay as the CEO's, managers, and lawyers who make the hard decisions which make or break the company. ~rolls eyes~ Ya'll might have better luck finding leprechauns, than expecting a company /not/ to pay top wages to the executives. I've written fantasy stories that are more realistic than the lie you rich haters are spouting...
