Portland

I say she has no more right to live than they do

Do you approve or disapprove of Trump supporters breaking into the Capital Building on January 6, 2020 to stop congress certifying the election?

I disapprove of their actions. It was an insurrection. An act of treason to break into the capital build, stop the process of congress certifying the Democratic Election that took place November 3, 2020, as well as potentially threatening the lives of our elected officials in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. This action also led to the deaths of 5 people.
I answered you question but you failed to answer mine

do you approve of leftwingers rioting in the streets across America

"All 18 defendants have made their first appearances in federal court and were ordered released pending jury trials or other follow-up court proceedings."

How much time did they serve?

Greg

Trying to enter was simple civil disobedience, breaking shit once inside and fighting with the cops to get in and once inside was criminal.

I agree on trying to do it, I disagree on the method.

Breaking and entering is now acceptable civil disobedience?

Civil disobedience implies willingly breaking laws in a peaceful nature.

So maybe not breaking, but the entering, yes, its actually a required part.

How is sitting in a seat you are not supposed to any different from entering an area you are not supposed to?

I get what you are saying...but it seems very fuzzy at what point it is ok/not ok (and I'm not an opponent of civil disobedience).

They forced their way through barricades - so you would agree, that is not civil disobedience?

Is this then civil disobedience - marching through private property?

What about engaging in actions that forced the House and Senate to stop their work, certifying the election results, and evacuate? Do you approve of that?

If they could have gotten in peacefully, yes.

but it appears they had to break shit to do it, so no.

If they caused the work to stop by just entering and being there, that is civil disobedience.

How about the leftwingers attacking the federal courthouse in Portland?

do you agree that they should have been shot also?
They never got to the court house. They were stopped crossing the perimeter.

There will be no convictions before 1/20. These are Federal crimes that Trump could pardon.

Yes it matters. They are 3 of the 4 most important leaders in the country.

Only an idiot would approve of it. So you must.

So are you calling some of your fellow Trumpers idiots? Almost 20% currently approve of the invasion of the capital building. I don't think any of them are Biden supporters.

Why is it either/or?

Why is the assassination of the President far more egregious than shooting a citizen?

Pushing aside barricades should have been met with arrest. Pushing temp structures to me is still "peaceful" but once you put a hand on an officer you lose the peaceful mantra.

also hacking away at an improvised barrier causing damage isn't peaceful either.

Big deal

if those big shots cant protect ordinary citizens they dont deserve protection either

and they stood around with their thumb up their ass while America burned for the past 8 months

Democrats cheered and supported Dems who occupied a Dem state house chamber. The hypocrisy is off the charts.

Its your side that is claiming that pelosi’s life is more important than an ordinary citizen

Ok, thank you for that. I can agree.

What about stopping traffic?

To be fair. When protesters were outside of the white house, without even getting inside the outer fence, they interrupted Trump from watching TV and tweeting, and escorted him into a bunker within the white house.

Approve. The entire nation was built on protesting illegitimate authority.

"My side" is claiming no such thing. But for some reason your side is obsessed with Pelosi.

You DO realize that she was not the only person in there right?

There is a reason why killing or attacking heads of state, police and elected officials carries such a high penalty. It's not that their individual lives matter more.

The thing isn't them trying, it's the cops not arresting their asses the second they block the road.

Our current protest class is coddled. people like MLK performed disobedience, got arrested and went right back out doing the same thing. They also had specific grievances to fight against, specific laws like bus segregation or lunch counter segregation that could be won tangibly. Law goes away, protest ends.

The problem is most current lefty protesters are against the whole system in general, can't be placated, and worse, don't understand getting arrested is PART OF THE PROCESS.

Instead they don't fight against the laws or the government, they fight against their fellow citizens right to free travel and access to commerce.

FYI some soy boy idiot blocks me on my way home isn't getting run over, he's getting insulted into throwing the first punch.
