Which institutions are we supposed to trust?

The USSC? That decided you know what, fuck it, the government can force you to buy insurance.

The FBI? The ones that kept the Steele dossier/comic book alive for three years?

Maybe the media. Is there anything they’ve done that screams trust?

Dems have been stealing elections since Barry.
No way in hell he should have won one election let alone two.
I disagree; GW caused 4 million people to face foreclosure.
Perhaps you weren't one of them, in which case I can understand where you're coming from.
No, Bush had nothing to do with that. All those foreclosures were caused by banks responding to DEMOCRAT legislation and pressure that forced them to lend to people who were poor credit risks. Bush wasn't the sharpest tack in the box, but at least he tried to get relief to the homeowners, Obama came in shifted it all to the big corporations. The average American lost everything by being stupid. the average corporation made huge long-term profits thanks to government subsidies. Moist of the people foreclosed upon had no business buying a house in the first place, they couldn't afford it and they had no idea how to maintain a house. Do you remember the term "Liar's Loan"? I sure do, at the time everybody knew the banks were making loans to people who had no ability to repay them and passing the risk on to the FHA and VA.

Alexis de Tocqueville 1805- 1859

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville
I've read Alexis de Tocqueville's works. I have posted extensive excerpts from Democracy in America many times on this forum. It is my favorite political science book of all time.

That is a totally fake quote.
I'm listening to Rush right now. He's tossing out conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory. He's taking random tweets as gospel and running with them as Da Troof. He's believing and getting outraged over every "election fraud" story someone calls in with. No proof, no backup. And of course, his tribe is buying all of it.

They're trashing our electoral system for their own gain. Talk about un-American.
He's an entertainer, stirring the pot is what he's paid to do.

It's like this...

1) If you believe every conspiracy story about this election that is out there... you WANT to believe them. Because it makes you feel better.
2) If you do NOT believe ANY of the conspiracy stories... then you DON'T want to believe them. Because it makes you feel better.

Myself.... there are some genuine reported anomalies out there. I believe the two poll workers who said they witnessed the supervisor taking mail in ballots that arrived too late, and mixing them in with on time ballots. That is wrong. I believe the media workers who said they were asked to leave because the counting was over, only to find out they counted for another hour and a half... now... with no one watching. I believe, because I saw the video of it myself, where a poll supervisor put up blinders over some windows so some areas couldn't be seen.

You can't believe them all. And you also can't dismiss them all either.
The problem is that nothing like that should be happening. Elections have to be above reproach, they shouldn't even have a faint hint of impropriety. I know I'm not being realistic, but that's the way I feel.

No.
Never will until identification is required for every voter.

Fuck your voter Fraud claim.

Ballots in the dumpster/River says Rush, al with the name of trump.
WTF? How does Rush know?
Are there names/Party Choice/ etc on the outside of these trashed ballots?????

Rush is the fraud that helped promote the larger fraud. trumpstain. Dotardtrump. #45embarrassing

Kinda funny that a white van pulled up at the end of the day at a voter count center in Detroit. They had 130,000 ballots and every one of them was for Biden.

The GOP watcher, an attorney watched them come in. The threw the GOP people who were there as watchers out and put paper on the windows so no one could see in.

Nothing shady here folks. Suits by Trumps lawyers are already flying and I'd bet this whole mess goes before the SC.

total bullshit claim.

I haven’t had any faith in the US Political and Election system since the fall of 1990, and my high school American Politics class.

I knew that Prime Minister Palme had been murdered while walking on the safe streets of Stockholm, but I had never read that the CIA was responsible. After I post this, I shall check the Web for information on this matter. (I have read that the CIA has been responsible for a lot of dirty deeds.)
When you've eliminated every other suspect (such as in the assassination of John Kennedy) and the only suspect left has the motive, the capabiliteis and the M.O. well .....

Best wishes to you & your country. When I was a teenager in the 1950s, Sweden was my ideal of a perfect country: homogeneous population, nice mixture of capitalism & socialism, tolerant social policies, clean and orderly cities, high standard of living.
Thank you. Oh boy, the 1950's! Those were the beginning of the good old days when Sweden was really getting on its feet! It was a paradise and it lasted until Palme's assassination. And I agree with every word you said, "homogeneous population, nice mixture of capitalism & socialism, tolerant social policies, clean and orderly cities, high standard of living". We've lost a lot of it now. In Sweden, we have a common expression, "Allt var bättre förr". Everything was better before. It's kind of a joke and a little bit derogatory about us older people but there is a lot of truth in it too.
