All the mass shooters have severe mental illnesses. Their perceptions of what they are, are 100% mistaken and based on mental illness. And, there is nothing in what Roof said that was vaguely conservative anyway. It is accurate however to say that he was a victim of a failing liberal culture in which such shootings have become commonplace.

I assume he killed blacks because he was a racist, or at least as racist as one of these insane shooters can be. I suppose you could say the CT shooter was bigoted against elementary students and the VA shooter against college students but that's only so useful.

What's most important of course is that our liberal society keeps producing more and more of these shooters when there were virtually none in the conservative 1950's. Today for example there are 6 million boys between 16 and 24 not in school and not working. It was not that way in the conservative 1950's when the going was good..
