Elizabeth Warren's DNA test results point to Native American heritage

Oh look, there's only ONE tribe that Warren could even REMOTELY stand a chance at joining, assuming she was 1/32nd Native... which they don't know.

Why are you claiming that she ever said she had enough Native American blood to have a membership in a tribe, when SHE NEVER CLAIMED SUCH?

Huh?

Then why did she have to prove it? And it's fucking laughable, you and I probably have the same amount of Indian blood.
She proved it because the right wing has been screaming for her to take the test and prove it for a few years now. And because Trump promised to give a million dollars to charity if she tested and was found to have Native blood.
Ha ha. Now he's trying to squirm out of the deal. He probably hasn't got a million dollars left anymore.

I do understand that many have a romantic notion of having some First Nations lineage and but when one uses a falsehood to receive a grant or a position thereby denying those to a true First Nations person, in my mind that is theft.

Funny story, we got back 144 acres of prime Virginia land through Revolutionary War land grants with a spring and a beautiful river running through it that the white man took from us originally. lol. My grandmother, who was darned near full Cherokee, lived on that land til the day she died.

Reason for the land grant was because I also share the name and blood of a major founder and General in the Revolutionary War. But, it's kind of neat how what goes around sometimes comes back around.

Dimms just admit it, she lied to get preferential treatment. It’s not the end of the world.

Elizabeth Warren acknowledges telling Harvard, Penn of Native American status

You are correct... She masqueraded as something that she never was. Perhaps it was a misconception in her own mind.
Results of the DNA test demonstrate that she has nothing more than the average amount of genetic Mix that the other 360 million Americans living in North America have. So either she has purposely misled others to think that she was something she never was or she foolishly assumed that she could reach back into her genetic history and cherry pick an identity from numerous sets of genes present there.

Wouldn't .098% be if she was only 1/1024th NA, instead of 1/32?
They're playing math tricks on ya, Macaulay.

Bottom line is that she is not First Nations as defined by quantum blood level.

She didn't prove anything yet to say everyone on the planet has the same DNA and related to each other if you go back far enough.

.

At best this test says she may have had an ancestor who raped a Native American woman in the 18th or 19th century. It's not even close to proving her grandmother was a Cherokee from Eastern Oklahoma. Warren is a liar.
BOpe,. You are just an ignorant POS. She said that her grandmother had Native American blood, not that she was a Native American

You people are the dumbest fucking assholes on the planet.

No. You're the dumbest fucking idiot on the forum.

Ask a native american, i believe it does. Lol, liberals cannot do anything right. You elected a negro that was half white.
I believe Trump calling her "Pocahontas" was insulting to Native Americans no matter if she is able to join a tribe or not.
Really? I think her claiming to be indian to get a minority job, stopping a real minority from getting it. Would be far more insulting than calling her a name. Tell me, are you outraged about the name washinton redskins?
She didn't apply for a job using that status, she applied for a college, which she didn't attend.

On the other hand, Republican Kevin McCarthy's family got $7,000,000 in contracts claiming Cherokee heritage:

Is it enough for her to join a tribe?
Does it matter?

That's a rather specious smear. The company belongs to his in-laws; he is not part of it.

Try again.

How is that a "fail"?

Elizabeth Warren doesn't need to take a DNA test. Here's why...

"Those who continue to insist Warren take a DNA test to "settle the issue" are not taking a pro-Indian position either. DNA doesn't define who is or is not an Indian. Only tribes can do that. To say anything else, including DNA, determines who is or is not Indian is a political attack on tribal sovereignty. The three Cherokee Indian nations who have government to government relationships with the United States have said Warren is not Cherokee. That should have been the end of it. Unfortunately it wasn't.

The genealogy of Warren has been done and shows no indication of Cherokee, Delaware, or any other Indian nation ancestry. The genealogy along with the fact no legitimate Indian nation claims her should have been the end of it. Unfortunately it wasn't."

She is not looking to become a member.

As it should be. I've had the blessing and the privilege in my life to have worked with on so many issues and been friends with many First Nations. I'm in Metis land now. :) We actually named our February holiday after Louis Riel.

I understand the romanticism of being of First Nations descent I'm clued into that, but it is so wrong like a Ward Churchill to benefit the way he did. I flipped on the artwork. I was so mad I was shaking a fist at the moon some nights on what a mockery Ward was. :) deer season was over so I didn't run off any beastie

All she proved is that she's a goddamn mutt like everyone else. I've got Native blood as well, doesn't mean I pass myself off as one.

She never claimed she was
She just said family heritage reported a great, great grandmother was

She claimed A on the one link I provided. She also has claimed her parents eloped because her mother was Cherokee.

ALL of Elizabeth Warrens past family members were ALWAYS listed as White on the Census record, it is clear she is full of baloney and lies.

Elizabeth Warren's Ancestry - Part 1

"For a few weeks, it has been pretty big news that US Senate hopeful from Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren, has claimed to be Native American, Cherokee to be specific, in the past and she is still clinging to that story now. Several times, I have either read or heard her compared to the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, Bill John Baker, because some give her the benefit of the doubt and say Warren might have the same blood quantum as Baker. IF, and I capitalized that on purpose, because we are talking "big if" here, she actually had a Cherokee ancestor, and IF it was the ancestor she claims through, that might be true, but it isn't.

I think there must be a lot of people who either don't understand genealogy and the records available or there are a lot of people who haven't had the time to look. Whatever the reason, it seems people need to see for themselves that Warren's ancestry shows NO indication of Cherokee ancestry or heritage.

Because she has been compared to Chief Baker so much, I thought I would compare their genealogies and show how we can clearly see a difference between a real Cherokee and a fake one."

Elizabeth Warren's Ancestry - Part 2

"We continue comparing Elizabeth Warren's ancestry with that of Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, Bill John Baker. The pattern continues to clearly show the difference in how a white family is found in the records compared to how an Indian family is listed."
