I did believe them, Edward. Professor Ford strikes me as someone I would like to know a lot more about and talk to before I believe this story as it is being told. I think SHE genuinely believes what she is saying. I think memory can be a tricky thing and I think she has had a really oversized reaction to the incident, if it happened like she said. I have no idea what really happened, but I smell someone who might have a screw loose. Not for sure, but I'd want to know a lot more before I believed it 100%.

I agree, however the American public would like a valid reason and proof of such allegations. We can vet now but what does that look like? Two people claim it didn't happen, one claims it did happen and it happened when they were 16 and 17, 40 years ago, seems like a real stretch and we are not sure what if anything happened. Is this going to be the new standard, any and every allegation that is out there should be examined with a fine tooth comb to make sure no one ever did anything wrong otherwise they can't hold an office or position?

No one would ever be appointed, no one could ever be elected and we would spend years moving through accusations. Look at the Obama case, birth certificate, him having gay affairs, him being paid off by Russians, the insurance companies, are we not all getting a little to sensitive?
