where? Antarctica is colder than ever.Go look.

You don't need to spend much time on this video to catch that things cause climate. Things cause change. To claim a tiny portion of any gas changes climate is a wild wild claim.
So take a moment or two and check out this island between Australia and New Zealand.
First what things change climate here? The pair of island mountains? Take a Grade of A if you say the mountains cause it. So please stop blaming a tiny amount of a helpless gas, called Carbon Dioxide.
This.... 6:50 to 6:56We've reached the stage where no matter what the weather, the crazies claim it is because of [man-made] climate change.

In any case despite the ultimate scenario there is no question that the Sun will vaporize the earth sometime in the future.Wow .. he's wrong ... "degenerate carbon and oxygen" at 7'12" ... PBS usually doesn't make basic mistakes like this ...
Our Sun is currently burning Hydrogen into Helium ... and our Sun is too small for this Helium to burn, not hot enough and not enough pressure ... thus, at the end of her life, when all the Hydrogen is gone, she will collapse into degenerate Helium ... the "electron degenerate" state is an official state-of-matter like liquid and solid where gravity crushes the electrons into the nuclei into an exotic super dense material ... white dwarfs ...
Stars that are large enough to burn Helium have different endings ... supernovae and neutron stars ... gravity crushes the electrons into the protons forming neutrons ... nothing but neutrons packed together ... the "neutron degenerate" state-of-matter ...
We can only speculate about any quark degenerate matter within black holes ...
Scientists claimed they have never seen anything like this before. Estimates of 13% increase in water vapor into the upper atmosphere could likely push the global temp to or beyond 1.5 C for several years. At ony given time there are several volcanoes erupting around the world. Why do you think this one will make that much difference?
In any case despite the ultimate scenario there is no question that the Sun will vaporize the earth sometime in the future.
5 billion years is the estimate.
However the estimate for the end of life on Earth is much shorter than that. 1 billion at the most and most likely a lot less.
