Florida's laws protect Gun Owners from liars. It is a "Shall Issue" State. That means the State has to prove that you are not worthy of carrying a concealed weapon. Just as it has to prove that same thing to take away your license once you have it.

Remember, carrying a gun is a right, not a privilege.

Btw, Florida's permit is accepted in at 34 States I believe.

New York State's permit is only accepted in 19 other States.

I've read 7 pages of comments and ready to post.

I feel this is a win for the American People. It feels good to survive an attack like this. It's like they do care about my rights. I can't remember any Senate vote that gave me a little cheer inside.

Constitutional issues should always be a ballot initiative so that a note can be made on the actual number of voters that support said changes to the US Constitution.

Back in grade school a 2/3 majority was needed to turn Bills into Law. So, to me, needing fewer votes should have made passage easier.

The only bright side for the gun control group is that 26 families were involved all from 1 State. That State passed a gun control Bill and has protected it's citizens.

It's a win/win in my opinion and you have 4 democrats to thanks.
