Explaining Socialism to a Republican

So was Frank Marshall Davis a Communist?

Actually yes in fact his Communist party number: 47544!!!! acccording to FBI.

So is Obama a communist? Of course, he had 3 communist parents, admitted he gravitated to Marxist professors in college, haad numerous communist mentors, and grew up to vote to the left of Bernie Sanders the only open communist in the Senate!!
false...
the bullshit just comes pouring out of you... Bernard "Bernie" Sanders is an American politician and the junior United States Senator from Vermont. Before serving in the Senate, he represented Vermont's at-large congressional district in the United States House of Representatives and served as mayor of Burlington, the largest city in Vermont. Sanders is a self-described democratic socialist, and has praised Scandinavian-style social democracy.

Dear, socialism was created as a prelude to communism by Marx. Barry and Bernie were the 2 greatest leftists in the Senate and Barry lies about it to survive just like he lies about hhis affair with Frank marshall Davis.

I made no distinction between those labeled Communist, Socialist or merely Liberal

nor should you!!!
Norman Thomas quotes:

The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

This was precisely the tactic of “infiltration” advocated by Lenin and Stalin.[3] As Communist International General Secretary Georgi Dimitroff told the Seventh World Congress of the Comintern in 1935:

"Comrades, you remember the ancient tale of the capture of Troy. Troy was inaccessible to the armies attacking her, thanks to her impregnable walls. And the attacking army, after suffering many sacrifices, was unable to achieve victory until, with the aid of the famous Trojan horse, it managed to penetrate to the very heart of the enemy’s camp."[4]

C. S. Lewis on Diabolical Democracy Socialism and Public Education Conservative Colloquium

Buckley endorsed Chambers’ analysis of modern liberalism as a watered-down version of Communist ideology. The New Deal, Chambers insists, is not liberal democratic but “revolutionary” in its nature and intentions, seeking “a basic change in the social and, above all, the power relationships within the nation.”

"I am for socialism, disarmament, and, ultimately, for abolishing the state itself... I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."
--- Roger Nash Baldwin

Since I'm unfamiliar with that logic, could you explain a bit more?

Republicans stand for freedom and liberals stand for deadly Marxism even after it killed 200 million so lets pray that people vote for Republicans
bullshit ..
Liberal socialism is a socialist political philosophy that includes liberal principles within it.[1] Liberal socialism does not have the goal of abolishing capitalism with a socialist economy;[2] instead, it supports a mixed economy that includes both public and private property in capital goods.[3][4]

Although liberal socialism unequivocally favors a mixed market economy, it identifies legalistic and artificial monopolies to be the fault of capitalism[5] and opposes an entirely unregulated economy.[6] It considers both liberty and equality to be compatible and mutually dependent on each other.[1] Principles that can be described as "liberal socialist" have been based upon or developed by the following philosophers: John Stuart Mill, Eduard Bernstein, John Dewey, Carlo Rosselli, Norberto Bobbio and Chantal Mouffe.[7] Other important liberal socialist figures include Guido Calogero, Piero Gobetti, Leonard Trelawny Hobhouse, John Maynard Keynes and R. H. Tawney.[6] Liberal socialism has been particularly prominent in British and Italian politics.[6]
what 200 million people are you yammering about?

That isn't socialism. That's fascism.

It's also stupid and impossible. Freedom and equality are mutually exclusive. Equality is impossible under any circumstances, but we can ignore that point for now.
bullshit it depends on what you mean by equality. There is equality of opportunity and equality before the law and equality of outcome. Both equality of opportunity and equality before the law does not violate freedom. In fact freedom depends on them.

way to misinterpret Tomas Mann....that's if you actually knew how that is.
my guess is that you heard it on some fringe right talk show...

Wrong. The only thing that doesn't violate freedom is equality before the law, which is one of the principles this nation was founded on. Equality of opportunity is a fantasy, and it certainly can't be accomplished without violating freedom. The children of the rich will always have better opportunities than the children of the poor. How do you make their opportunities equal without taking away the rich man's fortune, his business connections and his smarts?

How could this country have been founded on equality before the law, when at that time we had slavery and only propertied males could vote?

How many times does this have to be explained to liberal ignoramuses?

You're too stupid to bother wasting an argument on.

Next you will tell us the Athens wasn't a democracy because the women and the slaves couldn't vote.

Was this country founded on equality? The Declaration was a form of propaganda and had no legal force. Is it correct to judge the past's behavior morals and so forth by today's standards? Will Americans, 200 years from now, believe we were immoral and dirt-bags for some of our behavior and beliefs we have today?

So how did Obama get elected? White guilt.

The Declaration was a form of propaganda and had no legal force.
Of course only a scummy treasonous stupid liberal would say that. The Declaration reversed 100,000 years of human history in a second. Like the birth of Christ it was a huge and monumental leap forward.

Yeah ya can... but you can only drive it for roughly 1/3rd of a Ford's tank, before ya get to take a 12 hour hiatus... . And the kids will have to ride inside and that's a deal breaker right there.

Actually the range is the same, 350 miles. The BIG difference is the cost; $80.00+ to fill the 350, and zero to charge the Tesla. Yes, your kids have to ride inside, where they should be.

My guess is that his capital investments, acquisitions and other deferring considerations fall fairly well short of AT&T.

The good news is that they both pay the same federal corporate rate, which is the highest in the free world.

Except nobody pays tax rates. We pay effective tax rates.

My trust is a corporation. The actual tax rate is 4%. Thank You Republicans!

I've had years so successful that I could have purchased a garage full. Like when oil was $140/barrel and gasoline was near $5/gallon. But I chose to see my children through college and bank the rest for days like today.

As for "actual numbers" - why should that be any fucking business of yours? :dunno:

After all, you asked for a quotient and I gave it. :slap:

Just think, if you would have voted for your own best interest you'd have much more today.

I never asked for 'actual numbers', I asked for actual rate, which would have blown your 'bitch session.'
