The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is now in possession of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s emails from her tenure as Secretary of State. Two emails are classified “Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information,” according to Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Clinton attorney David Kendall had been holding on to two thumb drives containing Clinton emails. Right now, it is unclear why the two emails were marked “Top Secret.” Judiciary Committee staff has yet to review the emails in question, a staffer told Breitbart News. The law was amended in late 2014 to require that personal emails be transferred to government servers within 20 days. But that was after Clinton left office. Watchdog groups conceded that she may not have violated the text of the law...

And, many federal workers, Capitol Hill staff, etc., use personal email accounts — in addition to their official accounts — and choose what, if anything, is turned over from those.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A spokesman for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign says she has directed that the personal email server she used while serving as secretary of state be given to the Justice Department.

Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said Tuesday she has also directed her team to turn over a thumb drive containing copies of emails sent to and from a personal email address via that server to the Justice Department.

A U.S. official briefed on the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly says that Clinton's lawyer, David Kendall, turned over three thumb drives after the FBI determined he couldn't remain in possession of classified information contained in some of the emails.
