Gore won the popular vote, and we will never know about the electoral college.

And I repeat...Al Gore didn't win his home State of Tennessee...the people that knew him the best! What does that tell you about him, NoNukes?

It is more an indictment of the state.

It's an indictment of Tennessee that they didn't think enough of one of their "native sons" to vote for him? I guess you COULD look at it that way...or you could look at it and come to the conclusion that people from Tennessee knew Al Gore better than people elsewhere and made the decision that they liked the OTHER guy. That's an indictment of Al Gore...
