There is a bullying that takes place in any group of vets assembled. A mindless get with the program or be shunned.Which is just one more indication that you violated the "Stolen Valor Act"...What post of what fraternal org do you idiots belong to and hang out at?Of course he doesn't..
You know, Douglas McArthur used a line a couple of times about old soldiers not dying, just simply fading away. But then again, he went to West Point. He didn't need bragging rights
There's just a common bond among vets. In spite of interservice rivalries, they respect each other... After all, they took the same risks, and they knew their lives could depend on the other guy, regardless of branch..
A real vet NEVER disrespects another honorably discharged vet...
Goodbye, Faker...
Make that TWO we caught today.
most of the vets prior to the 2000s and after 1973 I know of did not risk their lives, defend anyone from anything, or ever contemplate a serious chance of seeing combat. But they always seemed to need others most.
No one I know of ever disrespects the service of veterans, but respecting ones service does not give one a get out of jail free card or a lifetime membership to the community chest.
You shout the loudest so you are suspect
