Enough of this crap from Schumer and the never-trumpers......the President has full authority to deport anybody he deems living in the United States illegally and the USSC is about to confirm that. He's done his best to get the loser progs to do what's right for the country, but they won't, and never will. So that's it...enough is way more than enough. But wait, won't they just jump right back over the border? First a look at the proposed wall.

For comparison, the portion of the 700 miles of fencing built in 2007, under the Secure Fence Act of 2006 signed by President Bush, was estimated to cost about $2.8 million a mile, according to the Congressional Research Service in a 2009 report to Congress.

It was also constructed using mostly the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the National Guard. The report also found “fencing constructed in FY2008, using mostly private constructors, cost about $5.1 million a mile. Ouch...double. But it's there and very difficult to get past. But here's the rub....

“The Corps of Engineers also predicted that the 25-year, life-cycle cost of the fence [authorized in 2006] would range from $16.4 million to $70 million per mile depending on the amount of damage sustained by the fencing,” according to the 2009 Congressional Research Service report. The Rats would just let that fencing fall down and maybe be bold enough to bulldoze it....they're communists....they have no pride or principles.

So a fence is on an ongoing and fairly expensive proposition to maintain. I propose to shift money already appropriated to DHS to refurbish that fencing making it good for 25 years. The DHS budget is $41B....25% of that makes that fence impenetrable and gets us maybe another 50 miles of new fencing in hot spots. We then strictly enforce e-verify and not only fine but jail those who knowingly hire illegals. Next we inform the Mechican president that if he want's some form of NAFTA to remain....HE GUARDS THE BORDER ON HIS SIDE. Whatever means necessary, we don't need the details and he gets $1B a year in foreign aid and a nice guest-worker program with his workers GOING HOME after the crops are picked. The President can end the chain-migration and visa lottery crap with Executive Orders. This saves us billion$ and keeps our neighbor to the south happy as a fish taco.

Forget that... Build the wall after / while deporting them all...

Stipulate that every dollar saved in 'entitlements'; jailing, legal, food assistance, living stipends, MEDICAL... etc. - that is less than the year prior - spent on illegals,... goes into a "Build the Wall" fund accessed only by the sitting president. Gives us one year to implement deportations, one year to scramble together the building logistics (with 10's of billions), and a 3rd year to solidify forward progress and budgetary commitment from Congress, if at all feasible...

So...low crime rate and everyone speaks English?
That’s terrible....Sounds like a place Progressives would call a shithole.

It is amazing, isn't it; that illegal border crossings shrink, and Black/Hispanic unemployment drops like a rock. Any correlation you think!

Americans vote in their own self interests. Prove correlation with that factoid, and watch Democrat snowflakes disappear.

Then there is no need to deport if the illegal crossings are down and minority employment is picking up.

Besides, 89% of Americans say no to you weirdos.

Millennials and Zs, Trump is threatening you if you are in school as well as your friends who are in school from crazy shooters at large.

The dems are not going to fund his wall. However, he probably has the executive power to regulate banking to tax wire transfers of remittances. And that's probably the only way he's going to get any infrastructure built with his name on it.

I vote to keep a few of these around....so long as we write some legislation prohibiting them from turning into the baby factories they all do.

Why Executive Order May Not Be Enough for Trump to Build Border Wall

The problem is you just can't deport people. Each and every one has the right to a hearing unfortunately. If anything, that's what needs to be changed.

Trump has added dozens of new deportation judges, but trying to catch up on 11 million or more people is still time consuming. But there is something that would work:

Congress pass a law that anybody caught here illegally after May 1st of this year be subject to a minimum five year prison sentence. Our borders would be flooded with people trying to get the hell out of the country. Nobody would want to come in either which would eliminate the need for any wall.

Self-deportation is the cheapest and easiest way to solve this problem. So lets look at the other arguments liberals have made when it comes to a wall:

* People getting here in tractor-trailers and trucks over the border. A five year prison sentence would stop that too, and it should be ten years for a driver trying to smuggle people in.

* Overstayed Visas. A five year prison sentence would hit them the hardest since most of those people are law abiding citizens of other countries. They would be the first to leave the US.

* Underground tunnels: Who would spend millions of dollars and years building a tunnel if it meant getting caught and going to jail for five years? Even if successful, who would risk five years in prison going through the tunnel and coming to the US?

A real problem with a simple solution.

This is to simple of a solution...most can’t/won’t wrap their heads around the simplicity. You’ll get the ole’ “where will you incarcerate these people...our prisons are already overcrowded?”
They won’t allow themselves to realize that we can easily build facilities with the savings from running out the cockroaches that aren’t willing to risk getting arrested.
These facilities could be built in agricultural areas...we could donate convict labor to our farmers and ranchers.

For the most part we wouldn't need many new facilities because most illegals would just pack their bags and go home. The problem is when you have sanctuary cities and states, it's a welcome mat for people to come here against our laws. Kind of like telling a pedophile that if they are caught messing around with kids, we will send them to a boys camp to supervise camping events.
