GOA to Sue the ATF's Bump Stock Ban

Lol
Irrelevant, Fucking pieces of shit control freaks like yourselves need to shut the fuck up

Try and make me. You should be locked in a insane asylum because you are a crazy right wing nut. It is very relevant. Banning bump stocks has nothing to do with owning a weapon.
Lol
There is no reason to ban bump stocks other than political correctness… So shut the fuck up

You shut the fuck up. There is every reason to ban bump stocks and any device or modification which causes a semi-automatic to act like a automatic weapon. A 5 year minimum prison sentence should be added
Lol
Na, not really
Political correctness has made you into a retard

You are the retard. I am the one who has common sense.

I'm rubber you are glue, what bounces off me sticks to you

A journey of a thousand bans begins with but a single step Comrade.
If it was a gun they were banning, I'd be upset.

But is just a needless accessory. ....

I have no interest in bump stocks. I have used them before and they are nothing more than silly range toy.

However, two things I don't like about the ban:

There are hundreds of thousands of bump stocks in this country and the idiot oppressive government has banned them because one person used them in crime. Despicable!

The Constitution says very clearly that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Bans and restrictions on arms, even bump stocks, is a clear violation of the law.

It is not a clear violation of the law. The 2nd Amendment deals with guns not accessories and restrictions on accessories have been upheld.

the murder of babies in the womb have been upheld, but its still murder

This business about original intent is so much bullshit. Bump stocks did not exist when the founding fathers were alive so the idea they would allow it is so much bullshit. The day you create a time machine so you can go back and ask them is when you can talk about original intent.

under original intent it meant the people would be as equally armed as the government that might oppress them

Banning bump stocks is not oppressing anyone.
it's not helping anything either. again, for those who just go BAN - BAM; PROBLEM SOLVED they're stupid. a freaking rubber band will do the very same thing and now this "ban" makes people want things, or something like it, for no other reason than they were told they can't have it.

human nature in as much as having to ban shit.

so tell me, what does this change for anyone who really wants to do this and what does this "ban" accomplish towards slowing down gun violence?

Then any modification of a weapon that makes it behave like a automatic weapon should be banned and the perpetrator jailed for a minimum of 5 years.

that would violate the 2nd amendment

No it would not.

Perhaps, but I am choosing to hide my weapons and I don't take too kindly to being called a coward for doing it.

if its time to hide them , its past time to get them out and use them

You go first.
never hid them to start with

Irrelevant. Get out and use them, or are you just a keyboard warror?

thanks for stopping by

Thought so.

and the Founders communicated by WRITING letters on Paper that took months to deliver . You , well YOU just type on a keyboard and your message is deliver instantly BusyBee .

And , i am a member of both the NRA and GOA and i'll be sending GOA a Hundred bucks to fight the Bump Stock Ban today . And others should do the same !!
not going to offer a lot of support for a device designed to get around automatic weapons being illegal.

you could do what most who really care will do - use a rubber band.

under the original intent of the 2nd full auto is perfectly legal

neither did cars. neither did our highways or the internet. back then it took quite some time to get a message 1000 miles. today it doesn't matter if next door or other side of the world. instant gratification.

it's really spoiled us to other things that simply *never* will be as "instant".

all we can do is put the context of what was intended then to todays environment. it was written to be a "living" document and as timeless as possible to avoid this bullshit you're trying to limit it to now so you can go "wah, i get my way, instantly...i millennial!" and regardless of how your inner-emo cries like a child, it may never be that "instant". it takes a lifetime to get through a lifetime.

how and why it was written is clearly documented in our history. maybe you should bitch less and learn more.

Maybe you need to learn something. The founding fathers dealt with the ownership of guns that fired one shot at a time. You really have no clue what you are talking about. The founding fathers were not talking about bump stocks or any other device you can think off. That is up the the states and federal government to regulate.
-------------------------- things change BusyBEE but the intent of the Founders was that Americans be armed as well as the individual American combat soldier BBee .

Bullshit! Don't be silly. Arms are arms. The Founding Fathers had no intentions of saying that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed but anything used to make them work can.

How does a person find a weed guy?

The market is out there, you just need an "in"
Lol, I think just about everyone knows a "weed guy" or knows someone who does. But you are just assuming that leads to somebody who will sell you a gun, and while I'm sure it can sometimes I highly doubt it does all the time.

Fine, then you go to your bookie, or to the guy who sells sports gear out of his trunk (growing up it was "Tough Tony", he was a fence for the "family" that worked JFK).

Again, if you were really really that pissed, you could find an illegal gun.
no such thing as an illegal gun

Tell that to the NYPD if you don't go through their annoying registration process for handguns.

Tell that to the NYPD if you don't go through their annoying registration process for handguns.

It's only annoying if you have a criminal record.

why should I have to spend 3-6 months and $500 or so dollars in fees just to own a revolver?

Cost of a CCW is $30.00. Took me 48 hours. One only has problems if there are criminal pasts involved.

In NYC?

In NYC CCW's are only given "for good reason" and the process can cost hundreds of dollars.

I legally own two guns. No infringement as far as I'm concerned.
