Cruz knows his shit
Cruz is a fucking whack job who would have the world in flames in 90 days or less.
Huckabee still doesn't know the role of the Supreme Court
Oh the SC MAKES law now? Please share this knowledge with us.
Vaccines saved billions of lives over the past 90 years. Stupid anti-science fuckers.
They also kill people. Look up the US vaccine court.
What law did the Supreme Court make? :dunno:
Rightwinger is saying that the SC made a law that Kim Davis is breaking....they did not. They RULED on a law and declared is unconstitutional the next step is for the STATE OF KENTUCKY LEGISLATURE to pass a new law. Therefore right now there is NO LAW not being followed because there is no law.
Marriage laws were broken. Denying an individual a marriage license because they choose to marry someone who is the same gender is unconstitutional.

The judicial branch decides constitutionality of laws, not county clerks.
Still not following. If the LAW was unconstitutional that means there is NO LAW now. Got it now? The Kentucky legislature doesn't meet until January. They will then pass a new law with more than likely opt outs for people with religious objections to this kind of "marriage"
No, I'm following ... Davis refused to observe the Supreme Court ruling despite that law being deemed unconstitutional. Even worse, she wouldn't let anyone in her office issue marriage licenses to gays. It doesn't matter what the Kentucky legislature does in January, Davis is violating the law now. Kentucky didn't stop issuing marriage licenses until January. They still issue marriage licenses. Denying gay couples of those same licenses they're giving to straight couples is unconstitutional.

The ruling merely said the law was unconstitutional that's all. It threw EVERYTHING into chaos and she is right to ignore that thug in the robes illegal orders to marry ANYONE. There is NO LAW to violate until January when Kentucky passes a new law and only then can she violate ANY law.

What branch of government does a county clerk belong to? Judicial or Executive?

Don't care. :) Why does it matter? The SC can NOT make a new law therefore the law she was going by is gone and is replaced by NOTHING until January when the legislature meets.

That's all well and good but you not caring doesn't mean it doesn't matter.

It did not throw anything into chaos. It clarified that no state can deny a couple a marriage license merely because the applicants are of the same gender. No state, including Kentucky, can issue licenses to straight couples but not to gay couples. Who knows why that is too complicated for you to comprehend? :dunno:

And no county clerk can defy the Supreme Court ruling. Kim Davis found that out the hard way. It matters not if you agree with the ruling or not.

The law she was following was deemed unconstitutional. Observing that law despite its unconstitutionality was in clear violation of the rights of those to whom she refused to issue a marriage license.

But she knows this now as she changed her tune while in jail and has now acquiesced to allow her office to issue marriage licenses to gays; something she refused to allow before going to jail.

The judge said, rightfully so, stick it up your ass and follow the US CONSTITUTION, AND BY NOT TAKING IT UP, SCOTUS AGREED!

Cruz has been outstanding .......
Yea, out standing in the Twilight Zone.
More like hitting it out of the park.......notice how they all rushed to agree with him on defunding planned parenthood
Except the heavily edited videos were turned into outright lies. No one sold fetuses. It's against the law. Local authorities would have arrested anyone doing such an odious thing. Come on people. Don't be so fucking gullible. It makes you look like morons.
I don't know how Republicans can manage to look more moronic than they already do.
