Has Trump made your life better, worse, safer, unsafer, scarier?

For me, it's too soon to see how much worse and unsafe he has made my life - but he has sure as hell made my life scarier! Most of my family and friends feel the same. How about you?

Washington Redskin,
Still have the election hangover?

Obama's are no where near as wealthy as either the Clinton's.....
Yet. The Clinton's left the White House "dead broke" but are now worth upwards of $31M and probably up to a $100M depending upon who does the accounting. Being both lawyers, they know how to use tax loopholes just like Mitt Romney and all other rich people.

Barack Obama alone is worth about $12M now, but he can cash in just like the Clintons and easily triple that in the next few years.

Barack Obama’s Net Worth as He Leaves the White House | GOBankingRates
President Barack Obama Net Worth: $12.2 Million
For his day job as president, Barack Obama earned $400,000 a year throughout his entire eight-year term — a salary that incoming president Trump has vowed to forgo. The president also receives a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account and a $19,000 entertainment budget.

On April 15, 2016, President Obama released his 2015 tax returns, which showed that he and First Lady Michelle Obama filed jointly and reported an adjusted gross income of $436,065. They paid $81,472 in taxes according to their 18.7 percent tax rate.

They also donated a total of $64,066 to more than 30 charities.

According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Mr. Obama has a net worth of $12.2 million and First Lady Michelle Obama is not far behind with a net worth of $11.8 million.
A lot of people will spend a lot of money to hear the Obamas speak

They will quickly reach $100 million in wealth and contribute to charitable causes

Something Trump does not do
:lmao::poop:

Yes, like I said, the Obamas, like the Clintons, will cash in. As for Trump, why should he cash in when he already has billions?

The difference is that Trump is cashing in WHILE he is president

That does appear to be his personality and "not so secret craving." He was much the same as a kid.

I have no doubt that if he had not inherited $200 to $500 MILLION DOLLARS and the lifestyle that went with it, he would likely be parking cars someplace.

Same for his useless kids.

And, Fred wasn't exactly honest or ethical either. A family tradition condition.

I wouldn't go quit that far. His kids are bright, thoughtful and well adjusted individuals.

No, they really are not.
They really are not very bright and when you have that much money, smarts don't really matter so much. They're thieves, just as they have been taught to be. Do some reading. You'll find they're really pretty vile - like the Kardashians, they're rich and famous for being rich and famous.

Are you talking about The Obamas or Clintons? They certainly are filthy rich.

Obama's are no where near as wealthy as either the Clinton's or drumpf. The biggest difference is that the Clinton's and the Obama's both came from working class and earned their money.

drumpf had his given to him and he has since done his best to squander it by failing at most of what he has done.

Either of which is okay. Just don't pretend its something its not.
Wow, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you didn't vote for Trump. That hate isn't healthy.

I have faith any improprieties will be handled.

I'm surprised a big government guy like you doesn't feel the same way. ;)

I think his financial improprieties will cost him his presidency

He can't seperate what is good for Trump from what is good for America

Trump is the stingiest billionaire in the country
Agreed. So what? What kind of philosophy believes in the redistribution of wealth? Besides Christianity and Socialism, that is. :)

How about a philosophy that believes that people should be paid on par with the value of their productive work and not the minimum that markets dictate?

If that were how things were most millionaires & billionaires wouldn't have a pot to piss in.

Frankly, my dear, I doubt a 70 year old billionaire gives a damn. Seriously.

You've seen me post several times both that I doubt Trump wanted to win in the first place and that he would probably resign for "medical reasons" before the end of his term. Like the Clintons, he knows where the lines are drawn. He may get his pee-pee whacked, but he won't do time. He'll just retire back to golfing and yachting.

For me, it's too soon to see how much worse and unsafe he has made my life - but he has sure as hell made my life scarier! Most of my family and friends feel the same. How about you?

I would say people who feel that way are complete sissies.

What about those who cannot earn more?

-- elderly, kids, vets, handicapped, working poor for example.

As I posted above, that's what pissed me off about him trotting out his miners. He lied to their faces, they kissed his ring and then drove back to W VA. Imagine the conversation in that van. All of them happy because their lives were finally going to turn around. Where will they be when they realize they've been had? What can they do?
You do know, don't you, that those same miners would have faced in Hillary an implacable foe, out to destroy their means of support?

A good philosophy, but not good government to force that upon everyone. Do you really want to give big government that much power? Do you think we need more Federal government in our lives or less?

How could anyone honestly answer that question after only a month in office?

Depends on what the government does.

A well known saying is:

"Do not fear the government, fear the wealthy".

Yes, I want government to set employment standards and to regulate business. I want government to provide security and to protect the environment. So far I see no other interference in my life by government except for paying taxes. I don't object to taxes as long as there is a reasonable benefit to the American people.

Capitalism is too often, the economically advantaged taking advantage of the economically disadvantaged. Left on it's own, capitalism becomes enslavement and extortion. I want government to protect me and my fellow Americans. If that means 'big' government, then I'm all for 'big' government!

I believe Trump thinks his financial empire is off the table. Now every decision will be views as to how Trump benefits financially

Claiming your kids benefit and not you wont cut it
