I was looking at a website by NPR. The website title is, "New study estimates more than 900,000 people have died from COVID - 19 in the U.S." Check it out for yourself. This study comes from a place called University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluations. In the article, it says that the death estimates from the coronavirus in India, Mexico and Russia are around 400,000 too low. Also, that in Japan, Egypt and several Central Asian nations, the death rates from the coronavirus are 10 times higher than reported death tolls. Could all this be true? I wouldn't doubt it.
