Accordingly, they installed various checks and balances in the legislative process that ensures that minority opinions are given full airing, and are adequately addressed.

What you want to call "roadblocks" are simply the normal process. There are have been countless attacks in the past 75 years to circumvent those checks and balances, most notably by Democrats. Whether it was Harry Reid creating anti-filibuster rulings, changing the voting requirements, or Nancy Pelosi calling for passage of bills without adequate review, their history is long and dark.

The left needs to quit whining - they need to realize that it is their own ideas that are making them irrelevant. The people have spoken.
